Apparently I just won - a guaranteed winner of cool car, cold cash - 2013 Ford Explorer.

If this is an India- based company, what are trying sell or steal?

Yep, me too.  Went to the Kohl's website, didn't see anything about a give-away so investigated further on-line and ended up here.  Given that they mention Kohl's, which I am a card holder of, I wonder if it is Kohl's that is providing the info to the mystery company.  

Got the same call from Amy.  Same number. Same pitch.

I received the call through a message.  Amy Watts from the prize claim center you have one a 2013 Ford Expedition ....cool car - cool cash.....etc.  Just call the number 1-800-351-5760......and congratulations on your win!!  I told my husband if it sounds
too good to be true  than it usually is....I didn't fall for it!   Please make others to beware.....I didn't call.....

Just got the same call.  Makes me wonder why I even bothered signing up for the "do not call" list in the first place.  Between calls like these and the robocall ones from the "there's no problem with your card, but this is the credit center (never states a company, BTW)  calling..." these interrupting, unsolicited "phishing" phone calls are so worthless and a waste of my time.  While I understand the limitations of the Do Not Call registry, the intent of the registry is being circumvented and proving it worthless.

Just got that same call from Amy...Ever since I placed an order with Carol Wright gifts, I have received more than usual amount of unwanted calls which makes me wonder if that is the source of these calls as they may be selling info.

Take a closer look at your caller ID, the 800 number is preceded by a 1 - the international phone address of the USA. This call originates from outside the USA, uses a toll free link, which they have paid for, and then goes through to your number displaying a valid, toll free, US number on your ID. This is one of the reasons why the government's do not call list is not very effective. I don't have access to trace equipment, but if you could trace back, you could get the actual foreign source number. There are many 800, 888, etc. numbers that have specific exchanges (351 in this example) that are links to foreign numbers. Off the top of my head I can state one example, 1-888-415-#### originates in India. Watch your caller ID closely; if it is from out of country and you have not done business with nor solicited calls from out of country, the rule of thumb is don't trust it. Let it ring till they give up or your answering service takes it. Better yet, if you can afford it, get a call blocker.
