This guy tried calling me from 323-348-4766. The caller ID showed as Kaniel Huff. He said his name was Tom Jones. Offered me a $100 dollar gift card.

Apologize for the profanity - but I get very angry with these continuous calls.  When I question to caller I am called so many names and accused of being the bad person.  REDICULOUS!

I received a call from Ron asking for the make and model of Konica copier in my office.

I first asked him his name and phone number which he provided.

I then asked him how he knew I had one, and what is the name of my company.  He had the company name correct hower, "Ron" and I both know I don't own Konica / Minolta copier.

I told him to remove my company phone number from his phone list.  He proceeded to call me the "office bi***" and that I don't have any right to speak to anyone the way I did and hung up on me.

So - I am supposed to listen to this "jack***" try to bill me for toners on a copier I don't own, plus call me a "bi***".

Just got a call from "Grant Stevens." Wants to give me a $100 discount on toner for a grand total of $439. Said some bad technicians had damaged $18,000 in property and that "Lela" was going to call to verify shipping info. I asked him when the toner order was placed and, like other commenters said, he told me he gets reports from the machine. Also called me "dear" multiple times.

Got a call from Grant Steven yesterday telling me that he was with Knica Minolta and that he was going to lock in a special price for us on our toner. He then said his shipping guy was going to call me to verify the order. When the shipping guy called this morning he said he was with Diversified Supplier. I questioned him about not shipping directly from Konica and all he saId was " I will put in my notes you have a contract with Konica" and hung up!!  Total scammer!

I received a phone call from someone by the name of John who said he was a Ricoh customer service rep that needed to verify my information. Then told me he would call back tomorrow. The next day I received a phone call from a woman with the same place and when I asked her what company she was with she hung up. About 30 minutes later John called back and asked if his assistant had contacted me. I said yes but when I asked her what company she was with she hung and he replies that's odd. Then he hung up on me! UGH! I can't stand scam artists. GET A REAL JOB!!

Just got a phone call earlier from Grant Stevens claiming he was with Konica Minolta needing to send toner out. He informed me that the shipping guys would be calling later today to verify all information because in the past they had lost $18,000 because the guys were not double checking the orders. He then proceeded to tell me he was giving me a discount of $349 and wanted to make sure the shippers were charging the correct price. When I questioned him on this he said they had the count of the machine and it was showing it was time for new toner. So I questioned him again and he hung up on me. About 30 minutes later the actual rep for my copier called to ask if I needed new tonder (in which I do not at the time), I informed her of this and she said that if you have a maintenance contract with your copier provider that you will not have to pay for the toner unless you go over the alloted amount in a time period. Hope this helps everyone, and I so hope the shippers call to double check the information.

By the way he calls and asks for someone who is authorized on your equipment and when he gets your name he calls back the next day so that it seems like he knows who he is calling.

I got a call from Tom Diamond, he called the day before and got my name from my receptionist and when I answered he hung up and called back the next day. He asked for my last name which I never give out and then he said that they needed to calibrate our copier and clean it and that they had our wrong address and needed the correct address. I started asking him questions and told him I would check on it and get back to him. I tried to call him back to tell him that we didn't use his company that we had another and the phone number of course did not work. We are waiting for him to call back so that we can tell him off.

Just had "Grant Stevens" call saying he was our Copystar customer service rep.  Now, crazy thing is he had my first name & knew all of our copy machine's info but told me our toner will be shipped the following day & the shipping department will call me for further authorization.I got the same phony phone # & now I'm pissed because he was so smooth.  Can't wait for this supposed shipping department to call & get a ear full of my mouth.

Just got a call from "Tom Diamond" claiming he was from Konica Minolta and needed to send someone out to service our copier... asked me for the model number and wanted to verify our mailing address. He was VERY convincing and sneaky. Glad I didn't give him any info. Our copier is a Ricoh...

I got a call from "Robert" at O.S.S. Distribution Services saying that he needed to talk to the person who handles our Konica copier regarding updates to our toner order.  He knew our exact copier model number, and was very persuasive.  He told me that he works with our contracted company, Supreme Copy.  This is obviously a well orchestrated scam!

I Received a call from a Tom Jones with Customer Service.  He said he was manager and that I would receive a call shortly confirming my order.  He called acted like he was from the office where we purchased our office printer from. He acted as though the ink that we did not purchase was shipped to a different place and called to confirm the information, address and phone number and even your name.  Shortly after I hung up with him. I received another call from his rep confirming my information.  I just hung up.

He just called me also. Mr Tom Diamond. The caller id read LOS ANGELES. The phone number was 213-537-1910. Saying they shipped the toner to the incorrect company and verified our street address. Very sneaky.

Received a phone call from Tom Diamond trying to scam me as well. Says he was calling about the maintenance on our Ricoh and he needed to send it for our maintenance....

Tom Diamond has called several times claiming to be with Savin to sell us toner. We have a contract..he says this is through our contract. He had an incorrect mailing address. Also initially requests the copier model number. Says a tech will come out etc. Definate SCAM

His name is now Tom Diamond and he claims he works for Ricoh / Ikon. I called him on his BS a couple of times but he talked his way around it and almost sounded legit. It is a scam no doubt.

Received a call from Grant claims he is with Konica Minolta and wants to send out our toner. We already have it shipped automatically which was weird that we received this phone call. Googled the number and figured it was a scam. Called our Konica Rep and he confirmed it was.

Funny, He's getting crafty. Changed his name to Tom Smith. Had me fooled for a second. It's a crock. Don't give them anything. Too ignorant to get a real job I guess.

I received a call 8/22/08 and 8/25/08 from Tom Jones saying he was from Canon's Main office and wanted to ship us some toner.  He gave this phone number 800-354-1005(ext. 232).  I googled the phone number and found this message.

There are a lot of scams out there.  This guy was good.
