They have your credit card / check card number. I just had to change my check card number with the bank. I am sure that is the email you used when ordering flowers four years ago.

Ok on GEEKS.COM site the Freeshipping.com window that pops up can not be closed as the close button does not work and the web page does not allow you to move the window out of the way or to get to the order form as the Freeshipping.com offer blocks any further access.
This is quite deliberate fraud on the Geeks.com website and when I reported this they did not fix it.
So I went to some other web sites that also offer Freeshipping.com and guess what many do this also.
Freeshipping.com has many complaintes well earned for being deceptive and hiding behind a legit facade.

Does anyone know where this Easy Saver Co is?? The phone prefix is a WA state one. I spent time some years ago contacting a Del. "company" that did the same exact thing to my mother's bank acct. I then contacted/wrote the state district attorney, and tho didn't hear what happened, at least they were busted.

I will never ever order from ProFlowers again.  I used to order from them all the time, until they allowed this scam to happen.  I was able to finally get most of my money back.  These companies are shooting themselves in the foot by doing this, because they are getting bad reputations from former customers.  I ordered from an online catalog company this evening, and the same scammy ad popped up.  A full page ad with a picture of lots of brown paper wrapped boxes all over it,  and a giant coupon in the middle, and said to click here for a shipping rebate.  I exited out of it, and there was the order confirmation page of the order I had just placed, and there was another button just under the order confirmed statement.  It said to click here for  the free shipping rebate.  I, instead clicked on the "continue shopping" button which took me back to their home page.  Nowhere did it say click here to be charged every month for a service you don't want.   I called the catalog company to make sure they would not let this company scam me pout of any money, so I hope they recorded the call, in case I do get scammed.  I paid with my VISA debit card, so I wonder about taking an extra precaution, and cancelling it, and getting a new one, or will that actually do any good?  Can they get around that if I indeed am going to be a victim of them again?  So, Bob, whether or not people can or will read everything on a web page is beside the point.  Scammers will do anything it takes to get our hard earned money from us.  And shame on you if you work for these scammers.

It is best to generate new set of credit card numbers with near expiration dates to use when making purchases. In that way the information you gave them expires before make spurious withdrawals from your account.

Pat, you are right. These companies' only business is to rip people off. Just like some car dealerships like Joe Myers. All they do is scam, deceive unsuspecting consumers. Every body in there from the least to all the managers/executives. They operate a cult like environment with agenda to rip off consumers.
In general, what I do when making purchases with possibility of scheduled withdrawals is to generate a new set of credit card numbers with a very close expiration date sometimes to expire the very next week. I did same for XM radio & a gym membership. In that way I do not have to be calling them to cancel nothing because once my card expires they cant get money no more. It is called Safe Purchase numbers or something like that. Now the companies call me but I dont answer.

Warn everyone you know NOT to buy flowers from Proflowers.com.  Pro Flowers is selling/sharing customer credit card numbers to 3rd parties who are charging anywhere from $1.95 to $99.95 per month for scam ProFlowers-related memberships.  I just got off the phone with my bank, disputing the charges.  They charge under different company names hoping people will miss it.  “Easy Saver” is the most prominent.

I just finished filling out and printing online State Attorney General and BBB complaint forms against Pro Flowers for each occurance.

I had the same thing happen to me through ProFlowers. I called Easy Saver and the rep I got on the phone said their computers were down but as soon as they came back up she would cancel my "membership" - a membership I never even authorized!!! I also canceled my credit card and disputed the charge with the credit card company.

You clicked a check box that said "give me 15.00 off coupon and sign me up for this service"

They trick you by telling you to save money.

Buyer beware - don't blindly click!

It in relation to proflowers.com.  EASYSAVER is a rewards program that is supposed to offer discounts.  You will first notice a problem when $1.95 is charged, followed by $14.95.  If you call the number that is listed on your bank statement and complain, they will return the money.  Tell them that you didn't sign up for any savings program, I am sure the get the calls all the time because she was quick to rectify the situation.

Same thing happened here.  Someone who is authorized to use our company charge bought flowers from PROFLOWERS & sent them out of state to two locations, and the charges just kept coming...$14.95 one month & 14.95 the next from Easy Saver 800-355-1837.  We figured out what was happening by finding this page when we searched the info on the bill ie Easy Saver 800-355-1837

this is a scam company associated with PRO Flowers, if you enter a email address saying you want to be notified when your flowers are delivered you are "signed up" for this scam. and $14.95 will be withdrawn from your account. You have to be nasty and diligent to get this processed stopped.

easy saver and pro flowers are running a SCAM - don't ever do bus. with any company that is associated with either one of these operations.

yup Pro-flowers. I saw the charge and said it was from a $15 discount from an online purchase. I don't recall any of that so i told them so and asked for my money back and they did so without a fight.  May be a scam but at least they don't give a hassle.

if you buy flowers from Proflowers they will give your credit card number to a third party, Easysaver, and they will charge you 14.95 a month for a bogus membership. If you give them your email and ask to receive future specials they will charge you a monthly fee. Its fraud. Don't deal with ProFlowers ever. Very deceptive business practices.

no one is calling me, but i see they are charging me two separate payments of $16.95 per month since july. there are two phone numbers listed next to the charge of Easy Saver 1800-262-6199 MD and American Leisure 1877-564-8538 MD. we have called to complain to which they say, we have cancelled as of (it's the day after they have charged us $16.95 twice), how convenient for them. but again we see those two charges come yet again next month. i intend to call my credit card company and see if i can block those charges; otherwise i cancel that credit card.

I am one of those people who really do not look at their bank statements and I guess this company has been taking 14.95 out of my account since July and now it is November. I called them and they said that I sign up for it with the coupon that Pro Flowers gave me (I did not use or sign up for the coupon). The lady also told me that I recieved an e-mail from them one hour after I signed up for it giving me the terms and conditions. Ummm... I didn't get an e-mail from them. If I would have I would have ended the account right then and there. These people make me feel stupid. I am going to try to get the money back I hope I do. I will never use Pro Flowers again, and on top of that the flowers were for my mom and they showed up dead 3 times!!!

Last year I used the internet to order flowers for Grandma on Mothers Day. I ordered them from Pro Flowers. It was not a good experience and I decided never to use them again. I thought this was the end of it; but it wasn't!

I noticed a charge of $14.95 on my Discover card statement today. The charge was from from "Easy Saver 800-355-1837 Pa." for $14.95. I assumed it was for something my wife bought and was about to pass over it when something about it seemed familiar. I then used the Quicken search function to see if we had been shopping there before. To my surprise these guys have been billing me $14.95 a month for over a year and I had assumed every time it was from a small business for sundry items.

A Google search of "Easy Saver 800-355-1837 Pa"  revealed numerous complaints. Apparently there is some fine print associated with clicking the free shipping coupon that explains you will be charged monthly for an Easy Saver Rewards subscription. If you don't call them right away they only refund a month or two of payments. I called the above Easy Saver number, but they take the weekend off.

I called Discover to report the problem. Before I had finished explaining what happened, she told me they had followed up on numerous similar complaints and found out that what Easy Saver and Pro Flowers was doing is totally legal. She told me all I could do was call the Easy Saver number and ask for a cancellation and refund.

Check all your credit card (and bank statements if you use a debit card) for a $14.95 charge. If the payee associated with it contains a phone number you have probably been had. Especially if you have ever used Pro Flowers.

This is a third party company that automaticly signs you up when you order flowers from PROFLOWERS. They give you 30 trial then start charging after 30 days $14.95 a month. It's a scam. Just called PROFLOWERS and confirmed. They called easy saver while on hold and had it cancelled w/refund of 5 months in charges. I also called Charge card company and learned that they have received many complaints about same. Watch your statements..........
I'm done with ProFlowers.......

I too used ProFlowers to buy flowers for my Mom for her Birthday...I did click on a box and enter my e-mail, however no disclaimer popped up letting me know that my personal information was being released especially not my credit card number! The ProFlowers site is supposed to be secure, note the VeriSign icon in the corner of the site when purchasing! I was unaware until six months later that a constant $14.95 was being charged to my account! How did they get my information with out me providing it?!? I thought the charge that I noticed was for a purchase at a restaurant I go to which is coded differently than that of the restaurants name. After looking into the history of my account I noticed it was recurring and decided to look into it further. I pulled up several sites where complaints were being made against Easy Saver which ProFlowers is affiliated with. I called ProFlowers and was told they have a no hassle policy which is fine except they can't really do anything to help all calls are made to Easy Saver whom is the only one who can help you! So from there I called Easy Saver and have since then talked to two supposed manager/supervisors and still haven't received my full refund! I was supposed to receive it NLT the 27th and today is the 28th...still no refund! I have turned both companies into BBB and notified VeriSign of ProFlowers practices, asking them to remove the certificate ProFlowers holds for hosting an unsecure site! I am appalled and furious at such practices! I asked both companies how long they thought their companies would last in a recession with practices like this and got a snotty response of, "We have been in business for __years" Further more I called back to check on the refund I hadn’t got only to learn it hadn’t been processed…WHAT! They lied to me on the phone about the issue and couldn’t explain the situation. I asked if they knew about it and they told me no, so then later on in the conversation I told the same person about the blogs and complaints I found on the internet and they told me they were trying to locate the people who were complaining on the internet to get their issue resolved…which is it, they don’t know about it or they do? I am sure there is some stuff I am leaving out, but this is all I can remember for now…

Do a charge back through your credit card company.  If they get enough of them, they can lose their merchant account and notify your state attorney general.  Maybe if he or she gets enouogh complaints they will do something.
