Got a call from 800-358-0966 for the second time on 09/17. when I picked up the phone, the call got disconnected. When called back, the call went to the automatic response saying their office is closed.

Payment Care comes up on my caller ID. They said they never called me but I called right back to that number on my phone. It rings and rings but never a message is left. They asked for my 4 last digits of my account (credit card) I refused and told them to take me off their calling list. What do I do about this and who to report it to.
D 2011-08-09 14:17:55 Unknown
HEY, whats stranger? If you type in "citizensbank.com" in the web search, you'll obviously come up to the citizens bank webpage and it looks REMARKABLY different from the link that you have up there.
D 2011-08-09 14:15:22 Unknown
Then I am very disapointed because I made it extremely clear I was not interested and at the end of her speech she closed the conversation with "well thank you for registering with payment care, have a nice day! *click*"
D 2011-08-09 14:13:07 Unknown
Interestingly enough, I had a conversation with an individual from this phone number and she conned me into "registering" into the payment care program (whatever that is because she was very vague about everything) I went to my bank shortly after the stoopy phone call and explained. He recommended I file a police report because no one by the name of "payment care" is a part of citizens bank.
5 days later, I receive a letter in the mail about the payment care program and its "details" and no where on that letter does it EVER mention citizens bank, my account, my card number, or anything that seems legit. Im going to take it to the bank today, and will bring it to the police if i have to. This is insane and so bogus,

They call. I pick up, they ask for a member of the household who happens not to be in at the time. I say he's not home and before I can say "who is this?" or "may I take a message?" They say "thank you" and quickly hang up.

I've been receiving calls from them at 10:00 a.m., but I've not picked up yet. After reading these comments, I do not think I will.

Came back home I checked the missed calls I found that Payment Care (800-358-0966) in one day had called me every 15 minutes. Calls were blocked all day long but the little guy-girl didn't give up, he-she has done this before a few months ago. I would like to know the caller IQ (>49?).
Shirley 2010-10-20 18:51:10 Unknown
Tried calling them back and just got a runaround.Checked the back of my card and it isn't the same number. So it obviously isn't the Bank calling. They do leave a message.

I received one of those calls yesterday, and again today. When I answered yesterday, it sounded like they were having a party, lots of laughing and loud voices. I kept saying "hello, hello" and no one answered, so I hung up. Must have been a some wild party, at noon no less.
I called back the number and it appears to be Citizens Bank and them trying to push a product called paymentcare or something.
My bank bailout money at work! The bank takes my money, interrupts me when I'm busy, and screws me over with exorbitant interest rates. Go figure.

Call comes in as a toll free call. It's the new year so I guess they all start their "list calling" all over again. I don't bother answering the calls. Didn't the government put in regulations for this kind of thing??? Registering on the governments "Do Not Call" registry has helped a little but some calls still make it through.

Just received a call this morning from 800-358-0966, 1st heard a recording saying I am illegible for a lower interest rate on my credit card. Funny because I just spoke with my credit card company yesterday and they said there wasn't anything lower than the 12.9% I have (which I had a fixed rate of 6% - which is another issue, just changed it, with no late fees etc). So I pushed 1 to be connected, then this foreign sounding lady answered and was wanting to verify my account and said I could get a lower rate. She knew my name, address, and not the specific amount of my balance but knew pretty close. Wanted me to give her my credit card #, so she could verify it was the correct account. I told her, if you have it, you tell me, I'm not giving my cc# out. She said, anyone could get my credit card # if they wanted it, it's on my bill and a person could get it out of my mailbox. She was there to help. I said, well great, you will need to verify with me who you are and with what company before we talk anymore. I asked her what her ph# was and I would check with my credit card company to verify them & then I would call her back. She started giving me her contact #, then half way through it she hung up. This was pretty crazy. But if it is a legit card company where I could get a lower interest, then great I will change. Anyone have any ideas? I would appreciate it.. thanks, okcok

I have been receiving calls from 800-359-0966 for the past 2 weeks. Have not answered as I have caller ID - actually called them back today and could not get a "live" person...It's important enough for them to call and interrupt me from what I am doing, but not important enough to leave a message. How do I get them to STOP calling me???
