Call me & disturbe me

some one call me and hang up , so when ,i call back no one answer

1-800-361-5783 as well as their automated 866-469-6445 has become a major annoyance as well. I am aware of everything that can and may happen along with what's owed. Due to health reasons I've been unable to persist with payments. I communicated and am well aware of taking a credit hit. Nothing I can do. This jerk of a company is calling me up to 11 times a day I hang up on the first call and they continue that is a breach of the  Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) thus they can now be sued by me for harassment. However this threat as I made clear did not stop them. They would call and I would answer saying "hello up to 5 times" before someone spoke. I had enough and exploded. I took it upon myself and paid for a call block on my phone. It's only 4.00 so no big deal. Happy to say they stopped. In the mean time I am going to be writing a letter to tell them cease all contact. I will be sending it registered mail. If they continue I will be suing them and then it's THEM who will owe me money. I highly recommend you get call block they Cannot by law work around it and try to call you as then they can be sued massive dollars. My lawyer is not impressed.

This 1-800-361-5783 calls everyday, multipule times some times where when you answer, theres no one on the other end and it just hangs up on you.  I called back from being pissed off and super annoyed and found out its HSBC.  They say apparently our employees have accounts there but no one does.  First it was 1 account, then it was 2 accounts, then they told me 2 more employees have accounts with them.  Its almost some sort of spam BS or something!  But I'm super pissed and think anyone who is receiving phone calls from them should go to this site and complain to them

I've sent an email to them but it takes 5-7 business days to get a response or possibly longer.  I'm not giving up though, until they stop calling us.

I believe their call centre is either in India or Pakistan.  Hence their poor English!!!

i get about 8-10 calls a day from them too, im beginning to feel the love, they call every day and must love me so much to call so often, when they dont call by 9 am i begin to worry and hope they are ok, i am so fortunate to have such loving caring friends  :)  lmfaooooooooooooooooooooo

I just a call from this number at work. There was a recorded voice that said "This is an important..." then it cut out, then I could hear some people talking in the background (possibly a call center) then the call disconnected.

You are right, they are not violating law. But when they call, after you telling them not to call, i consider it a threat. Now I own a website with over 7 million members, how it works is; when corporations keep calling, everyone on that website know about the situation. So, when they call, I will threathen them, not only that, I will go there and kill them. I will tell them i'll kill them over the phone. When they call the cops, and perhaps arrest me , someone on the site, will automatically go kill the cop and the threat i had made. There is no more escape. You do not know who will kill you. But I garantee you, you will be killed. I tell you this because It is so big that it cannot be dismaltled. Watch, in the next few days you will hear about someone being killed at that bank.

Yes HSBC is very bad, they keep bugging me also for one month late payment. Very bad bank in the world. no other bank will do that.

This number calls on my work line.  As soon as I pick up, they hang up.  It's frustrating.  The government should be monitoring these people.

it's not legal either to make more than 3 collection calls or attempts per day it's a harassment violation

5783 every 2 hours all day long.It starts  @ 8:00a.m. and don't stop till late evening....stop now...

That number has called here 6 times in the last 3 days, we don't have anything to do with HSBC and all we get is dead air when it calls. We're very annoyed!

It's HSBC. Pay your bills on time, if you can't then call them back or pick up the phone. It's better to work out a payment plan of some sort, then ignore the calls and let it affect your credit.

these people are idiots. if the minimum balance required is $10 and i remit $50 and miss the next month, they start calling numberous times. i have destroyed my hbc card and will never use their products again. and, it's my cell they call which is really annoying. when i see the 800 number show up, i just abort the call. i will not call them as i don't want to speak to idiots who control the robo call (no messages are ever left) i never return a call if there is no message.

You are right the money may not magically appear because of these calls, however the reason they do it is becasue some ppl need an extra push and need to be kept track of. Some ppl will agree to payment arrangements and will not follow through, if they don't have the money to agree to these arrangements then they should just say so right off the bat. This is why they feel the need to constantly call and find out whats going on. Not because the person has said they can't pay and they are trying to make more money magically appear. You do realize that some ppl lie.

I worked in an outbound call center before and the reason that when you pick up there is no answer right away is because these representatives are in a call center and they are calling using and automatic dialer and it doesn't connect the call right away for them till after a few seconds, u just have to wait and then they will respond.

Don't want any call like this anymore?  I found the solution.  Buy Panasonic phone with "call blocker" that's the solution for that kind of calls.

I missed a call at 9:30 am today, same number called back around 12:30, I answered but nobody was there, then I just missed another call at 2pm. Called back, and it's HSBC receivables. I don't even have an account with them. Losers.

They are f****ng Morons and like everyone else says they generally will start with "This is an important call" then nothing... or often just nothing. Relentless b*****ds. I'm not nice to them I tell them to f*** off. It gives me great pleasure

I pay my bill each month and always more than the mimimum amount. And yet they have called my 8 times in the last 24 hours. I'm sick of this BS.

Despite I?m on ?Do not call? list I had three deadly phone calls today from Future Shop-HSBC 1-800-361-5783 at 8:36 am, 2:26 pm and 4:17 pm. I know a person who asked them to call me - an employee of Future Shop. If this ?MAN? can?t resolve his OWN PRIVATE problems, how he may have a job to resolve any problem of Future Shop????
