They call every damn hour. I pick up the phone and say hello and no one answers! It starts at 8 and ends at 9. If someone ever answers I am telling them I am calling my lawyers if they don't stop! I am out with a back injury and don't these calls every hour. Can't wait to get rid of this company!

Amen, to that. Thay are the worst of evil mortgage companies!!! Every time I tried to get them to apply funds to pay off my late after I was current, they would not. I am so angry with them and pray that I can pay this loan off soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They make seem like they're your best friend, but will bend you over first chance when you need help.

They're way of helping is to charge you more fees, higher interest, and even when you do get something, they'll hit you with an over the phone payment fee. I'd love to see the rolls turned on them for a change. At least some of my other creditors pulled my accounts current, or lowered interest/eliminated late fees, until I was able to catch up. I bet once you pay it off, they will act like your best friend and try to get you to take another loan.

I think if you tell them not to call at work, they have to stop.

I had one do that to me, and he said he had been calling my phone. I told him that I never received any messages from them, and he stuttered his words. Seemed like he was very pushie to talk to me at work.

Turned out, when I checked the website, my check was received that day (must have been on the Pony Express).

Household Finance called me.

I have a call reject unit in my phone line.  A year ago, we had a medical emergency surgery.  The procedure was to replace teeth from an accident.  We had always paid on time or early.  We called them and wanted to see if they could be so kind as to put a single payment to the end of the loan or if they could change the due date.  They wouldn't work with us, so we have been running one payment behind ever since.  They have been calling (mostly on weekends, early mornings) ever since.  There is no point in talking to them because they will not work with us, they just hire these foreigner's to call relentlessly.  Even though our phone filter only lets their call cause one ring, it's very annoying because we keep the ringer on in case we get an important call.  I will be free from these evil bastages very soon.  I just found out I have inherited a large sum of money and that is the first debt to be paid off in full.  Once they have their $15K, if they continue to call after the pay-off has posted, I will certainly sue them.  If we had ignored our obligation to pay them or had a poor payment history, I feel they would be completely in within their rights to hound us for the money, but they are without a doubt, the worst lending institution I have ever dealt with.  The main reason we decided to accept their offer of lending, was because they had a local branch where we could deal with them directly.  We had no idea they were closing all their branches in town and now the accounts are handled by smelly folks who don't speak a lick of English.  All we asked was that they would work something out with us during a family cirsis and they have no souls and their policies are pure evil.  We don't drink, but I can assure, the day that bill is paid off, you won't be able to hear the music for all the laughter and celebration!

HFC/Beneficial are criminals, and I plan on taking my claims to the office of the President... of the United States!
HFC/Beneficial thinks that if the close all their branches and farm out all their call centers to India, no one can reach them... They currently hire uneducated morons and give them a policy manual and tell them they are now "supervisors" frankley most of them probably can not read the manuals. Most of them do not speak in a professional manner, they use alot of filler speak like "um you know, and we askes you to um you know um"... I cant wait to be free of HFC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THEY ALSO HAV OTHER NUMBERS THEY CALL FROM THAT SHOW UP ON THE CALLER ID AS WILKES-BARRE,PA(570-706-8801), THEY HAV A WEBSITE AS WELL (HFC.COM) THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY CALLED MY HUSBAND STATING IT WAS ABOUT A CREDIT CARD FROM '03 AND WHEN HE SAID HE DIDNT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT, THEY CALLED HIM A SCUMBAG.
