Just called me at 1152pm! No answer to my hello.  Called the number back & it was a fax machine!  WTF?!?!?!? This is bullsh!t...something has to be done about this type of nonsense!  It sucks that you can't get anywhere with legitimate complaining on these kinds of numbers...I guess I'll just screen it, pick up & hang up.  So damn annoying!

I keep getting calls from this #800-365-6732. I have changed my # 3 times. It is unpublished. I am on the no-call list. I have had them traced through my phone co. This has gone on for multiple years. Today my phone company told me the calls are coming from HSBC Mortgage Services. I live in an apt. and have never owned a home. Absolutely infuriating. Today I was told the only way to stop them is write a "cease and desist calls" letter containing my phone #, copy it, and send it certified. Is this not a complete waste of their time and money and complete waste of my time? Apparently HSBC is not that good at collecting the money owed them when they repeatedly call people that don't even have accounts with them. I thought there were laws against this type of harassment.

I'm 15 and I have been getting calls from this number at like 3am on school nights and it's getting rediculous. I don't have any debt! I also get call from another 800 number and they say it's time to refinance my mortgage. I DON'T HAVE A MORTGAGE/ANY DEBT  I AM 15!

Got a call from this number, when i answered they hung up. Next day got a call from another number, 1800-550-3278. said hello 3 times before anyone replied. Woman asked "is this Heather?" i said no (because its not). She said okay, thank you, and hung up.

We are a small, private two-person business and received a call from this number yesterday and today.  The caller, who would not leave her name or message, insisted on speaking only with my partner, mispronounced his name (even when gently corrected), and spoke with a flat south-western accent.  After I explained that I was co-owner of the business, she said that she still had to speak only with my partner because it was "personal business".

This is a cold call from some sham company with an arcane scheme.

Called my place of business today asking for me, I was unavailable at the time, left this number for me to call back, Name on call slip from my co-worker was given as Justin.

I received a call from 800-365-6732 on my cell phone on a Saturday night. Twice told me the call was being recorded and asked me if I wanted to pay a $700 bill. When I told them I don't know what they were talking about they used my first and last name (they got it correct) and after they answered a few questions it looks like they were looking for a 2nd mortgage payment. I (mistakenly) told them that I don't own a house or have a 1st or 2nd mortgage. They asked if my DOB was xxxx and I said that was the wrong decade.

Stupid me for answering an unknown number!

We get calls from them looking for an ex-relative that had his credit card debt turned over to a collectiov agency which is what this seems to be. If your last name is the same as the person their looking for you'll get a call.

i have had this number for a while now, and no one deals with hsbc

no msg, no identification, i will not answer calls like these and found this forum when i put the number in - this still does not for sure identify who this is - if they keep calling, can we contact fcc as i put my cell phone on DNC list

This is about the fourth or fifth different number (could be same collection agency, who knows) I've had call my cell phone since I first got it for my job nearly 2 years ago.

I have been getting these calls for about 3 weeks and I answer them and get dead air. I call the number back and they are looking for someone else not living in my house and has never. I have told them 3 times to stop calling me and remove my number. They are still calling and I am done playing there games and going to fight back. I am looking to shut this company down for good!

They use an auto dialer like many other collection efforts by companies. So while it seems like a tremendous number of calls at your home or work, to them it only registers when someone picks up the phone, then they get on the line. This is HSBC/Beneficial, usually attempting to harrass and collect on late loans or creidt cards.

I did not answer the call. They didn't leave a message.

Called at 8AM asking for my wife for God knows what reason.  We owe nobody anything.

Just received a new number for my cell phone. I don't think it was in the pool long enough because these people will not stop calling asking for the wrong person then hanging up! I might have to change it again. :(

Just received a phone call from this number and they said, "Um...is this Harbor Medical Center?"  They have called me numerous times and I have never answered, but the one time I do, this is what they ask.

They say they are calling from Benificial a loan company. They ask for account # and/or SS# to let you know about you accout. Also using 800-365-6528. Have recieved 14 calls from these numbers since March 15.

These people do not give up, they even call after midnight. Why is this allowed to happen??? I do not know who they are.

Got a call from these people several times in the last 2 months.  I have never answered it, today I did.  They asked for a person I have never heard of.  I have had my number for 15 years. When I asked them how they got mu number they refused to tell me. iT WAS A FEMALE WITH A heavy SOUTHERN ACCENT.

They called here asking to verify employment, phone number, and physical address of my wife's brother.  Rumor on the street is that the brother is several months behind on his mortgage.

These people call several times in the day and night. They are annoying as all get out. They never identify themselves. This is stupid.

They called, asking for me, I said she wasn't available and asked if I could help them or take a message. They hung up.
