This phone number is on WITF's website so we know definitely from where it originates--or at least who is responsible for these awful calls.

Almost daily calls from this number for months & months, always a few rings then they stop. If it is WITF soliciting memberships or just donations it is a pecular way to do it and I wish it would stop. Caller ID only gives "out of area" number, no name.

Received several calls from this number (18003669483) since late January 2012, including about 15 minutes ago. The caller waits for 3 rings then hangs up, leaving no name or message. I've also been a member of WITF off & on, not currently. If they are really soliciting this is a strange way to do it.

i've been a member off & on over the years. donated last year, but not this year as of yet. since you give them your # when you donate, maybe they call previous donors that haven't renewed their memberships

a recent search shows that this number belongs to WITF, the public TV and radio stations in the Harrisburg, PA area - not sure why they wouldn't list their name with their number, because this call I would probably answer, even though they're only looking for a pledge.....
