Calling husbands cell phone. Sometimes 2x day. We are not past due on any ATT bills. He says never a msg left and if it does record a msg it is of people talking in the background. Has even heard kids in the background. Annoying!!

What you are is a smoke-blowing, Indian fraud. If you were in, any way, affiliated with collecting legitimate debt for AT&T you would know that a notice of validation is required to be mailed to the alleged debtor within 5 business days of your initial contact with them. As it is clear that you do not do so, and that you're obviously an Indian, it stands to reason that you are attempting to collect on invalid and/or bogus debt. You state that you are in accordance with federal laws. An obvious lie. You say you're offices are in Atlanta. Prove it. Post their valid physical address right here. Post the name & valid phone number of the manager in Atlanta right here. I really doubt you'll be posting a thing.
Lastly, only a fraudulent collector from India would be so dense as to think that anyone would respond to him at a lame gmail address. What's the matter "superboy.povi"? Doesn't your "company" have the wherewithal to provide you with a legitimate business e-mail account?
So come on "superboy"! Prove me wrong & post up some verifiable facts. We'll be waiting.

m a debt collector having experince more than 3yrs now ..i collect at&t land line bills ..  i hav read  almost all the above posts.. one thing i noticed in every post was they all getting calls but they dont knw why,  non of them tried to knw it ....!!!!
so leme giv u a clear pictur hw we work.. n why we call you...
most of us think that we are smart enough n we know everything.... but reality is somethin else...
when they order at&t they don't even try to read the terms n condition... blindly they sing the form without even knowing that they have signed a contact with at&t... every thing seems smooth , they  pay there bills on time n when they get disconnect before the contract period they get charged early termination fee... n from this point whole story begans..... now they think that they have cleared all the bills but don't even try to call at&t. ti know is there any balance remaining or not... they think after paying current bill there duty is done...
what happens in real is at&t generates a final closing bill once line got disconnect ..it includes all the past due charges n early termination fee if applicable n current charges ....!!!  most of customers are not aware off.. at&t also send notice on business address .. but in most case people closes there business or  moved to another location or they sold business to new person. now due to this they didn't get that notice on time.. as now here it owners duty to update there address or any other information to at&t. but they don't do that...
now the unpaid account shifts to collection agency n accord creditor services is one of the top collection agency among all...

now when they get call from accord .. they don't even feel like answering them. n when  they answer they hangup without even listing to other person who is calling to HELP you...!!!!!

accord works under federal laws n are not allowed to leave message on cell phone...  
n the people who receive call when they never had at&t in this scenario i m sure they are or were part of that business or may have ordered services for business for which they are receiving calls..!!!!.
there are loads of things which i want to share with you..but time is barrier ... so next time if you receive call from accord listen to them , n understand why they calling... they will not force you to pay the bill blindly.. but will ask your intention first .. n yeah one more important thing... accord creditor services is physically in Atlanta Georga,  n also they have a out source location in India  ..!!!!

calls several times a day never anyone there

I also get these calls from this number saying AT&T which they are not, they claim they are calling about a past due bill acting like a collection agency.  I have NEVER had a telephone or service with AT&T NOT EVER.  

They call my cell phone several times daily and since I no longer answer when I see their number (after telling them I never had AT&T of any kind of service) they continue to call, don't leave any message and if I accidentally answer the call they burp or make rude noises and then hang up.

I must have 50 or more calls from them and I'm sick of it!!!  Sick do you hear!!!  It's enough!!!  I don't owe ANYONE money so get a life and STOP calling!!!

I get calls almost daily from 800-373-5487 trying to collect a debt.

BEFORE I opened a small business, I spoke to an AT&T rep about a business phone. I informed them I did NOT have a business location, was not OPEN, and would get back to them when I did! They provided a phone number for my business and agreed to "hold" that number for a certain amount of time.  I decided on a different name for the business and decided to go with a different company for my phone service.  I spoke to someone in management with AT&T and he cancelled my account with a zero balance, because I NEVER used AT&T.

Obviously, AT&T is selling telephone numbers that they assign to potential customers to this debt collector.  WHY?!  Shame on you AT&T for doing this!!  This is why I don't have U-Verse, Cell Service, or anything with AT&T!  They don't care about customers or their customer service.

To those of you who "work" for this debt collector, if you call me again you're going to get a blow horn in the ear. I'm tired of you harassing me!
