I received a phone call from 609-318-9660 about the Bank stress Test Act, when I pushed #3 for no it cut me off. What a scam!!!

I've been getting these calls daily for the last 2 weeks and pressing (3) does not seem to be working, so I pressed (1), and 'David' said they would give me a call back. But today, I just got the same automated message. Does anyone know how to make this stop?

No-one seemed to have put this CCCS to a test of TRUTH by just playing along over the phone to discover their real DNA. I will do this when I can squeeze off sometime. My take? Like all of yours - a seemingly smart, albeit dumb, idea to scam; perpetrated by job-starved telemarketers.

Dave from CCCS "Stress Test Act"

Add 609-318-5682 to that list. I just got that same CCS recording. Did not hit 3

same call as all the above complaints but the number was 1-657-202-6951 I am getting them everyday and driving me insane. No name given or at least that I have listened carefully enough to catch... always tell me to push one to talk to a representitive, and 3 to decline the offer. I always push 2 and hang up. Anyone really know what this is?

I got the Bank Stress Text Act message, though the number is 302-394-9542. I think they must rent up batches of phone numbers at each location they use.

Thanks for the FAX note. I knew there was a good reason NOT to have a FAX! :) Me paying for time and paper to get some one's garbage, no thanks!

I got the same call today. A recorded message, I hung up. I did not waist my money to do a *69 number check, nor will I pay for this service before I pick up.
I'm on the Do Not Call List, but these calls keep coming! I no longer bother to call & report them...they skip from state to state, province to province, using phoney numbers to make you think they are local...They appear to be impossible to catch. For more information on how these creeps continue in spite of DNC, call the folks at Do Not Call List!

Got a robo-call from "David" at CCCS today telling me that I may qualify to reduce my credit card debt to zero under the Bank Stress Test Act. Funny. There is no such act here in Canada. If only it were so. Clearly, these scammers are still active. Number was 856-295-5684 (NJ area code), Same tactics, new number.

Same call from Brian clogging up my machine. Not sure why our elected officials and govt agencies are so useless re: this problem. When I called number they claimed to be the Loan Relief company out of Ontario. They hung up on me every time I requested to be on do not call list. In this day of twitter and cell phones, how about we CALL them repeatedly for a change and see how they like having their day continually interrupted. They were so rude and taunting to me on the phone...I will pursue this until I receive satisfaction. Where are those state attorney generals, FCC and consumer watchdogs when we need them? I say enough is enough. I cringe when I think of the harassment our poor elderly citizens are living through. Enough is enough.

I got a call today from "Brian at CCS" who wanted me to call this number regarding the new "Bank Act" and reducing my credit card debt to zero. We are on the Do Not Call List. How is it that these guys can get away with this?

Received a phone message from Andrea from 'Homeytel Business News' advising that credit card debt can be reduced legally to zero due to a newly enacted 'Bank Stress Test Act'. And to participate in this to call 888-567-4218. The phone call was made from 978-570-2279. I Goolged the Act to see what I could find out about it. I also did a reverse check of the phone number and found that the call was made from a a land line in Wilmington, MA. I am certainly glad, that I checked in to this.

Rec'd a call from Andrea saying about the Bank Stress Test Act and this would be the only notice.
| theskeptik 2010-05-13 17:17:27 Unknown |
I received a call also from 206-397-5122 letting me know that a company named Homeytel News could give me information regarding the bank stress test and reduce credit card debt legally to zero, and asked for a return call to Andrea @ 1-888-567-4218. Also told that this was my final notice! lol :) Didn't call her back as I know that the bank stress test is not meant for consumers but meant for a measure of a banks financial stability. My caller id showed the name of the company is Homeytel News!
