They call me every morning at 8 AM. asking me to send my statement to canadianmerchantbrokers1@gmail.com.  What kind of ligit company will use a gmail account. I think we should just use his e-mail and sign him up to porn sites.

They called our business and asked for the owner by name.  When I told them he does not take telemarketing calls, they put on this authoritive tone and asked my name and position.    

They said they would call the owner back and tell them how rude I was! I replied:  "You can call this number as many times as you wish Sweetie, but bottom line ... talk to the owner without going through me first ain't gonna happen for 'ya!"

He said 'have a nice day' and hung up!

Called with an blank or empty call, looked up the caller I and tried calling them back...big mistake.  They called back and asked me to read off my credit card statement so that they may be able offer a big discount...I just said, yeah right and hung up.  Its a good thing I'm on the Do not Call list... :(

I tell these guys to buzz off all the time since they don't take us off the list, they just use another name for a month [they call every month or so]. I always assume anyone calling about the machine is fake because I have a deal with our actual debit company's representitive that only she may call me. This has allowed me to have fun on occasion too since they say they don't sell anything.

These guys got to the point once they claimed to be my company's tech support. I laughed until they hung up. They are shameless. My favourite was they sent my boss a loan approval of sorts and I had never ever given them info, they just wanted to see if they could fool us. Didn't work.

I work for at a small branch that is part of a large corporation. When these people started calling here I was very polite and advised them that because we are a corporation we cannot make decisions like that at store level. I gave the same guy the number for head office multiple times. Now when they call they hang up when i start my greeting. At one point I called the number back and left a message stating that we were too busy to be running to the phone pnly to be hung up on and if they were going to continue to call to at least have the decency to stay on the line so I can again explain who they need to be speaking to. I recieved a call back from a woman who said she was the floor manager and that she would make sure we were not called again. Weeks went by and now all of a sudden they are calling again multiple times a day. They are now calling from a different number (1-854-789-6521) which I cannot call out to. I tried calling some of the old numbers they called me from and that I see listed on this site however none of them are in service.Companies like these just move and get new numbers when they get shut down. I will be reporting them. As for those people on here claiming to be employees, you are either fake or so gullible that the company has fed you lies to cover up what they are using you for and you beleive them. I have known people who worked making calls for companies they thought were legit and later the owners are arrested and they're stuck jobless and without a final paycheck so, that's probably what you are in for if you work for this company. Regardless, scam or not. Learn how to disposition your calls properly. If someone tells you there is no one authorized to make decisions at this number how is it beneficial to you to keep calling, and how are you going to gain clients by hanging up on people. Only thing I can think is that you do not value your job and not only is your company trying to scam people but you are scamming your company by allowing them to pay you for doing a piss poor job.

OMG!!!  After a few months of hiatus, these a***s(cdn merchant association) are calling me again.  This time instead of taking no for an answer, they are fighting back and I would categorize this as phone harrassment.

I told the girl on the phone to stop calling me, and she said to me if I hang up on her she will call me again.  I hung up on her, and she calls me back three times, I hung up all three times.  She calls again, this time I was extremely furious.  She said, "I told you not to hang up on me, ha ha ha ha".  OMG, It sounded like some horror movie like I was being stalked.  I asked her what her name is, she said "why would I tell you my name if you hang up on me three times?"  Then she hangs up on me.

Their number used to show up, now it is encrypted in some number that's not even 10 digit long, or sometimes it shows up as 0123456789.

I don't understand how they got my phone number when I am on the do not call list.
