There is a company calling them self Family Connect, stating that YOU have purchased gas at a gasoline store, the information has been sent to them through your credit card company, if you have one, they want to offer you a 200 rebate gas card and a prepaid calling card<--- they didnt say how much, They claim to be out of RENO NEVADA, There is no such place as i have searched it on the internet, the only place that is family connect is in Tulsa Oklahoma not to far from me, They are  Internet Service Provider, and they are the only one listed according to them, SO BEWARE, they want you to pay 5.99 for shipping you the gas card/calling card,
   Get this, They said that i have been purchasing gas with a credit card, right, and this information was given to them through my credit card company, heres the catch, I asked them wich credit card company gave them my information, They didnt know, but they knew everything from my full name to exactly where I live, so like i said BEWARE FAKE TELEMARKETER

here is rule number 1, never answer the call if you dont know who it is im refering to 800numbers not 1-800 numbers all telemarketing agencies you will notice there is never a 1 before the 800, but if your friend called you from long distance then there would be a 1,

go to this website and record this tone to your answering machine, its the ma-bell tone-the tone you get when you call a disconnected/discontinued number record the tone first then your personal greeting will follow this tone, all this does is tricks the telemachine/software into thinking it has called a disconnected number, it has to be programmed for that other they will lose money on a wasted call to a disconnected number, I have noticed its effectivness on my end, i would get sometimes at average 12 call per week, now i only get two a week sometimes it goes for about two or three weeks and i dont get a call,

That music you heard most likely you are hearing there telemachine music, hate to say this but you just gave them permission to sell/distribute your number to all telemarketing agencies, and your phone number not has been logged in their system, but it has been marked high priority, at and average call from telemarketers per day will increase greatly, give about two or three months and they will be bugging the crap out of you,

Here is something i have learned just today, more than likely they are from florida, california or somewhere that can sustain a high capacity call center, here,s the trick the 800 number you are getting, either find the area code for that number, or find a the original number, there are different ways to do this, once you have the original number or the 800 number with the area code, call them collect, it will cost them 10 or more everytime, it you do get through wait till they answer and ask for one of you fake friends, they will say you have the wrong number continue to do this and it will skyrocket their bill, do this from a payphone whenever time is  not an issue TRUST ME ITS FUN

All you need to do is add the ma-bell tone to the begging of your message and then after the tone you can say this is (your name+personal greeting)
all your doing is adding the tone to trick the telemachine so it wont log your number in, most people know that if a number is disconnected it will only ring once, not 3-4-5 times, All my friends and family, and legitmate business have always lefter a message becuase it is a real quick tone then they hear your message, these tones are designed in special frequencies that telemachines recognizes as number disconnected

This was a machine that has logged your phone number in and is now selling that number to other telemarketing agencies, My suggestion this is what i did I added the ma-bell tone to the begging of my answering machine messages so when the telemachine calls your number it gets this tone and it logs the information in as a disconnected/discontinued number or you can find disconnected number and use that tone plus the message after the ma-bell tone on your answering machine,

I have tried that method, this dont work, in fact they will put you call priority to call you even more, Authority's have tried to pass laws about telemarketing but they are smart and have loops around everything, my lawyer told me that and also said the only way to beat them, is use there own game against them,  here are other tricks off the subject

here is a way i figured out how to stop telemarketers, either find a number that had been disconnected and record it to your answering machine, they will think they have reached a disconnected number, be sure to tell friends and family about this, I just recorded the sound from this site to my answering maching so that when the Telemachine calls the one you get no answer, this will make the machine think it has reached a disconnected number and hangs up and does not logg your number in a distribut it

I keep getting the same calls about 3-4 times a day, this is what i have done, i have found out this is a machine recording your phone number, I have had several calls like this a majority have stopped when i added the ma-bell tone to my answering machine, the doo-daa-dee sound which makes the telemarketers maching think it has reached a disconnected number, I get now maybe two or three calls a week now, so i just let the answering machine pick this up

This number calls me about 3 times a day and has been doing so since about a month ago. I always ignore all 800 number calls and I usually call them back to see who they are. Music always plays when I call back and someone answered once and said something about a registry system. I hung up......I just got my number changed due to this stuff.....now its starting again! I don't know how to stop it.

I received a phone call from this # claiming to be Skyline of Credit with an approved line of credit; however, for final approval they needed my bank info.  As soon as I told the representative that ?I did not have a bank account?, she hung up the phone on me.  When I called bank a machine answers requesting to called bank during normal business hours.  This defiantly a scam.  Guys be careful...

Just called the number.  Picked up after about 10 seconds.  They answered Cambridge Card Services.  He said they specialize in fixing your credit.  I asked him to take me off the list and he said no problem.  I'm not optimistic about it.  I also called from my work phone.  Let them worry about it.

this call is related to a 5k revolving line of credit with no credit check, they want your bank number to verify who you are, after a little more investigating,they are a scam, look at bad business bureau . com

i got a call from this number too. i called back and, yes, i heard the strange music. i stayed on however, and a woman answered. she asked for my husband and i said he wasn't home could i leave a message. she said no, and that i should have him call her back at that number. her name was victoria. strange.

i too have been getting called from this number the past couple days. several times i did not answer, but twice when i did answer, there was no one on the other line.

i keep getting calls from this number too.  and no one ever answers either.  then there's weird music when i call back.  i don't have the patience to stay on the line to see if anyone answers.

I got a missed call from 800 376 4068. They did not leave any message. I dont' know who they are.

Calls from 800-376-4068 come into my cell phone on an average of 3-4 times a day.  When I answer, there is no one there.  This has been going on now for over a month.  I finally put the number in phonebook under "silent numbs" and set the ringer to none so I don't hear them calling.

Someone called me from this number claiming to be from the Gas and electric compnay saying that were going to turn off all the electric in the 513 AREA code unless you had small children or elderly living in your home.  I told them i had 3 small children.  Then they asked for my name adrress home phone and all kinds of stuff.  It wasn't till i told my co workers and they called Duke Energy that i realized this was a prank call.  But i already gave them my infomation.

This number constantly calls us, then when we answer there is no one there.  When we call the recall there is never an answer.  If anyone can identify this outfit, please let me know, and I"ll sue them.
