The phone rang about 6:45pm, I picked it up and said hello, and heard it disconnect (hang up?).  My caller ID gave the "unknown" number as 800-378-2256.

Guy called, finally answered hello to my two hellos.  He asked where I was, I responded.."What the hell do you mean where I am"  He then hung up.

Caller hung up as soon as I answered

I didn't answer b/c I knew it was another BS  tele-marketer and they didn't leave a message-- obviously their product isn't too important for if it was, then they wouldn't hang up as soon as our answering machine picked up.  Oh well!

Nobody wants telemarketing calls, so why not ban them entirely? Those career politicians are all bought and paid for by the Direct Marketing Association, that's why. The DO NOT CALL registry is a total fraud upon the public; it was never intended to be enforced. The Republicans & Democrats are just mocking your intelligence by pretending they care about your property rights. If you voted for them, you deserve these harassing phone calls.

I never said it was a collection agency; I don't know who it was.  Please do not put words in my post that I did not say!

This person was rude, rude, rude, and kept saying hello after I had already answered the phone.  His name was Al and if I ever get to talk with him again, I will be ready.  but if there is anyway you can disconnect this person forever, please do me a favor!

Woman talking with man in background telling her what to say! Refused to identify herself or give information.  Requested to talk to person living in household by name.  What up with that?
