I called about a 39.95 charge to my bank account for the 2nd time in a row and they gave me this number to call 888-421-3598, and no one answers there either...FRAUD!!!!!!!!!

I received a call from my MasterCard company.  They informed me that I had some suspicious charges pending.  I went on line to view them. Here is what I found:

My card Co. has canceled that card and is sending me a new one.

I did not go to any of these sites or open any of my Spam mail!  I have some suspicion about a receptionist in my doctor's office but don't know for sure how they got my card number.  She may have used the card number on several of the Spam sites.  Or, she may be a part of their network, picking up credit card numbers for them!

Finding this site through Google Search tells me what I wanted to know.

I had two charges of $39.95 for two months on my credit card. I did not authorize these charges. A charge of $1.95 was on my card as well stating it was for a work at home cd. I did not order that either. Someone needs to stop this phone number scam. I called the number and asked what the company did or sold or offered and no one could give me an answer. I was transferred to someone else who told me they would remove the charges. I have a confirmation number. We will see.

I have received two charges for $39.95 against my credit card from the holders of this phone number 800-381-7820. However, I had ordered something from a company that charged me $1.95, which was an authorized charge, for a CD that told me how to sell on Ebay.  Maybe that will help someone else avoid this scam. The $39.95 charges were not authorized by me.

I also had a charge of $79.95 with this phone number on my credit card, under the merchant name of "ACTION TRGM."  I called the number a few times but there was no answer.  A call to my credit card issuer informed me this phone number has been associated with fraudulent charges and my credit card was put on hold.

The merchant associated with this charge is specified as craiglist VIC with the 800-381-7820 phone number.
I called the number to ask about the charge. When the line connected the message said You have reached customer service (No name of the company given) and I was asked to hold. After a 5-6 minute wait an
operator came on ( It did not sound recorded) stating there system was down and call back in one hours.
After several attempts, I finally reached the number to speak to an "Agent" who gave me irrelevant stories and refused to refund the unjustified and illegal charge, and  said that he would only cancel my account (which account ? I don't know) so that it would not be charged again.
I have asked my credit card company to investigate. This company and phone number is associated with fraud, and should be stopped

This is from a work at home craigs cash a part of craigs list. they charged my bank account 39.95 twice so i got this number from the auto transfer and called them it is there customer support so i called it and cancelled it

I called back same thing. My credit card company is investigating. I am concerned as to how they got my credit card number, I closed my account to be safe.  This phone number is associated with fraud.
