CALLS EACH HOUR ON WEEKDAYS, SOMETIMES MORE FREQUENTLY ON WEEKENDS....LEAVES NO MESSAGE...BELIEVE IT TO BE A CALL CENTER FOR HIRE FOR CHARITY SOLICITATION. WILL FILE A REPORT WITH FCC WHEN I FIND 'HOW-TO' INFO

almost everyday, calls once or twice a day during afternoon to early evening. leaves no msgs. and hangs up. Bad marketing or bad fund raising.

This numbers calls several times in the day and also in the evening hours. Will not leave a message. They also call on the week ends. It is so annoying and very suspicious. If this is a legit call why not leave a message. Also when they see no one answers stop the calling. Would definitely like to have this number stop calling my home. Thank you!

When i did actually speak to "Angela" at this number and requested to be put on do not call list, she hung up on me.

They called here 7 times today and didn't leave a message.  9:22,1:25,2:56,3:57,4:46,6:02 and 6:25.  I'm anxious to actually answer their call so that I can call the company who hired them.

Call several times a day.  They do not leave message.  I have not talked to them.  I called the number and they say it is the Children's Cancer Fund.  I left them a message and told them to take me off their calling list.  We will see what happens.

Our call log shows over 2 dozen calls in the last week. They will not speak to me, asking for my wife. I have asked them never to call our number, but we keep receiving calls. I'm going to saying "I'll get her, hold on." then just leave the phone off hook.  At least each minute costs them a few cents and hopefully annoys the people calling.

Same thing as everyone else... keeps calling... they don't leave voicemail and when I answer it there's noone on the other end, not even a recording.

Bastards won't stop calling my damn house! Childrens Cancer Fund I think, I would have no problem giving money if I actually though it was legit!

has called AT LEAST 20 times today. I let it go to voicemail, and no message. they just hang up. This has been happening for about a week.

So much for consumer friendly regulations. I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

I have been receiving several calls a day when I pick up thre is no answer the same with the answering machine.

I've had 4 or 5 calls each day for several day.  How do they manage to wait until I'm the busiest I've ever been before they start calling.  :-)

No message.  No info on caller ID except phone #.

Is there a way to block the 800 #'s or put them on the do-not-call list?

I finally answered the phone and told the caller more than once I was not going to give, no matter how much of a sob story she gave me.  I hope that stops them.  Since I found this handy website and charity navigator I can see that most of the charities that solicit over the phone are an insult.  By the way the woman on the phone asked if I wanted to contribute like I did last year.  That is a trick to get you off guard.  I didn't contribute last year.

I looked up the charity on the Charity Navigator.  63.2% that is used for fundraising expenses is a terrible waste.  it probably is paying the salaries of the people who harrass us on the phone.

It is very sad that so much money is wasted when there is so much need.

This number has called my house twice today so far.  One time around 12:09 and then again at 1:52.  I'm pretty sure they have called other days too.  My phone only keeps track of the most recent time a number is called from so I can't be sure how many times they call when I am not home.  They never leave a message and I don't usually answer 800 numbers.

Answered phone.  Someone said 2 or 3 words that were not legible then background noise and conversation then disconnect

They call at least 5 times a day.  The calls are computer generated because the first time I said, "hello" it was quiet but the second time someone is on the line.  I used to work as a telemarketer so I know how it works. I guess it is payback for me so I just don't answer the phone. They never leave a message. Sorry everybody for my annoying calls in the past. Now I know how you all feel. :-(

I sooooooo appreciate these informational sites!  Received several calls over the past few days from this number.  Called the recording back and of course it identifed them as Children's Cancer Fund of America.  Unfortunately, these telemarketers have been bombarding my number with different 800 or 888 #s.  Some #s sadly involve the use of military branch names.  Internet sites say everyone of the #s is a scam.  # is unlisted and on the Mo and national no call lists.  You can tell others not to sell your unlisted #, but that does not work.  I report them to the national no call monitor, but so far they continue.

I have been receiving on average 8 calls a day for the past week.
Thank you JC Seattle for telling me about the *60 from my Charter digital service to stop these calls.  It will be wonderful to have peace and quiet now.

I came home from work today and had 12 calls on my answering machine starting at 10:21 and coninuting about every 20-30 minutes...as I was recording the information - call #13 came in BOY DID I LET HER HAVE IT!!!!!!!! It is very unfortunate that these are the people are soliciting money in this way for a worthy cause.
