Got two automated phone calls on two separate dates to my cell phone from the same number (800-391-7594) stating that I need to reactivate my debit card. They said their name was super credit union. I have no idea who their are or whether it is even safe to call them back. The only debit card I own is through my bank. I called my bank and they said there is nothing wrong with my debit card - so I think this may be scam.

They continue to call my Mom (aged 81) telling her that her credit card has been stolen and to press (whatever number) to get the problem solved.  Repeated request to get them to stop calling are not working.

Ideas on how to stop the harassement?  I purchased a police whistle for the next time she gets a live body on the phone, but it's virtually impossible to get a live person to talk.

I was worried that someone used my ID to open an account with super credit union.

THIS NUMBER IS A HOAX THEY ARE TRYING TO GET YOUR DEBIT CARD, CREDIT CARD NUMBER BY TELLING YOU THAT IT HAS BEEN EXPIRED, YOU NEED TO INPUT YOUR INFORMATION TO KEEP THE CARD UPDATED BUT IN REALITY THEY ARE TRYING TO STEEL YOUR ID. DONT FALL FOR IT. I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO THE BBB AND TO ATTNY GENERAL OFFICE IN SACRAMENTO , CA
