Has called everyday for the past 3 weeks that I can recall. Mostly in the evening. I never answer calls from numbers I'm not familiar with, and they don't leave a message. I hope whoever they are, they get shut down.

I found this information in Google, and I also called this number back, answering machine is California Fund raising charity, something like that, maybe legitimate?

Someone named Lawrence called 3/6/09, said he is doing fund raising for Cops helping kids. When I answered the phone, he said he needed to talk to the parent of the house, and I was the friendliest person he has talked to so far. He needed my home address to send me information for donation, and I told him I don't give out that information on the phone, he said I could check it out, their organization is legitimate. And he asked if I have a PO Box, and I told him I can't afford one, I asked for his phone number, he hesitately gave me this number.

3:30PM call. Let it go to answering machine and they hung up.  This number has been on are caller id quite a bit.  Also, we're on do not call list.

They called Monday afternoon 30-July-2007 @ 3:13 PM Pacific.

When the phone was answered I heard tones like they were trying to initiate a FAX connections or trigger a modem log in.  After hearing this for a few seconds, they hung up.

Phone ID# showed: 800-394-0193

voice mail answered and caller did not leave message

They called...9/14/07/at 9:14a.m.

Was called at noon Saturday. Man said he was from the California Police Chiefs Organization. I said we're on the do-not-call list, and so he hung up.

Let it go to answering machine as caller ID showed it as an 800 number, there was a message (with much yelling and fast talking) left in another language, possibly Indian. There were voices and muffled laughing in the background, probably a prank call from an 800 number.

When the guy said he was a police officer seeking fund raising foe children, I told him I was a District Attorney at home, and asked him for his mailing address.  He immrdiately hung up on me.

We're on the do-not-call list......
Called on Sunday at Noon.....
Hung up when phone was answered......
