They call to figure out if you are a real phone number, and then sell your number to other out of country telemarketers. Don't answer the call.

They were calling me from this number several times every day.  It got annoying to the point that I called them back and asked to have my number removed from their list. I will see if they will still call.  The company's name is Gemma Communications or something.

Called it back- announcement indicated 1 for english 2 for french...lol  yeah right... NO company name etc. Gemma Communication is the worst 3rd party call centre ever!  They do calls for like sears warrenty, cc, and cell phone sales-

Don't answer the phone or call them back...  People in other countries are scamming...  they try to keep you on the line so they can use your connection to place another call to other coutries....  BEWARE  !!!!!

1-800-395-1272 are engaged in "proving" they have more power than the citizens of Canada by not acknowledging the "will" of the Canadian people on the Do Not Call List.

I got a call not to long ago from them, I googled it to see what it was. There was a man voice that said hello. I repeated hi. Nothing . So i said it once more and no response so I hung up. It called twice after that and no response.

This number has been calling us twice a day for at least two weeks. We answered twice and no one was on the line. Today while in the midst of reporting them to the Do Not Call List (https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/index-eng) in Canada, they called again. This time there was an agent on the phone who identified himself as calling from an outsource call center on behalf of the CIBC. He seemed really stumped when | told him we had no accounts there and then he hung up. I finished my complaint armed with some more information than when | began so all in all it was a good thing for me and hopefully a bad thing for them.
