Learn to read, moron. My mortgage is paid and up to date and they call me several times per day every day saying I owe them money. Apparently they are as dense as you. This company should not be in business especially one in which they have to know how to keep records of accounting. And, you should perhaps take a basic reading comprehension class.

It's HSBC that calls and hangs up if you do not answer, in order to be allowed to call back again later in the day. It's their early collection department.

Yeah, it's HSBC and the worst part is that when I answer- it's dead air, sometimes for up to 1 minute.  I always have to call the number back and then give them all of my information.  I have a HELOC with them and it bills on the 23rd of every month- I pay it by the 15th of the next month, but I get calls from the 1st of the month even when I have already spoken with them and made arrangements to pay.  They are TERRIBLE!

8:30 AM, 8/26, 8/27, 8/28, 9/2
7:30 AM, 9/4

My 84 year-old father has received phone calls on the above dates and times.  A voice says, "I have a very important phone call for you all the operators are busy right nowplease hold the line."   The first time my father received the phone call, he stayed on the line for 15 minutes.

The sad thing about this is, my step-mother (his wife) passed away on 8/25.  At first we thought that the phone call was from a lawyer or doctor and had something to do with her passing away. Now he is answering the call and hanging up.  He does not need this type of harassment.  He is still in shock over the loss of his wife.

I called HSBC headquarters in Buffalo, NY.  Finding a phone number and being able to talk to a real person is quite difficult; however, I did manage it.  They seem to know nothing about these calls; they are looking into it.

Perhaps the State Attorney General's Office would be interested in these calls.

We have a 2nd mortgage with this company. We usually pay our loan by the 15th of the month, where this is not late, but my god, they call every day from 7 am- 9pm everyday until then.
It is messed up. My husband and I are going to refi and get rid of them.

HSBC Mortgage Services. Calls began about a week ago and I would never answer because I was at work. I figured that if it was important, they would leave a message. Finally I answered today on the 14th. They wanted to know when I would give my payment. I have been with this bank for 3 years and always paid on the 16th. Which is still considered on time. I asked why they were calling when technically I was not late yet. I always pay online on the 15th so it can post on the 16th. They did not respond and hung up.

They called me three times this morning. The third time I finally answered and they had the wrong number. I told them to take my number off their list. Fortunately I registered with the Do not call registry. If they call again I'll report them and they can pay that nice big fine for waisting my time.

HSBC is very aggressive at collections. They hold a lot of 2nd mortgages on homes that have negative equity which means they have no possible way of collecting there money if the home is foreclosed on. HSBC violates the contact laws. I record the calls and when I tell them they are being recorded they tell me that recording the call is against the contract I signed (?)and hang up. The will call every day if they have not received their money by the 5th.

Seems funny that a reputable company would not leave a message.  Beware, looks like a scam.  I will contact HSBC (not by this number) and let them know about this...

This phone number is for HSBC Mortgage Services. I own a rental property. I do not collect my rent til the 5th of the month. My mortgage payment is due on the 1st of the month, but not late til the 16th. Bill collectors from HSBC will call me simply because they did not receive their payment by the 1st day of the month. Each month I get the same collection calls. If I am willing to be a late fee, what should they care if I paid after the 16th ?  These calls are not necessary.

In May of 2011, I intend to file Chapter 7 - too much credit card debt. Since my mortgage is greater than the value of the property, I am tempted to include the mortgage too. THEN THEY WILL HAVE REASON TO CALL, BUT BANKRUPTCY LAWS MEAN THEY MUST STOP ALL COLLECTION EFFORTS.

Yes, this is HSBC.  I routinely make my mortgage payments at their branch, where I can get a reciept of payment immediately.  Once, they claimed to not recieve my payment (I've never missed one) as "incentive" to open a checking account or automatic withdrawal to them.  I declined.  They miraculously found it a week later and I've never mailed them a check since.  That was four years ago.

Even after I started paying directly at their branch, they "lost" my check and wanted me to send another.  I declined that too.  I have the receipt.  What they do with my check after I've received a receipt is their problem.

They've called me numerous times on this number.  I've only answered  once.

They have been calling me about 3 to 4 times a day. I have my rings set up a certain way so if I don't know the caller I can tell by the ring. I finally googled it today and have seen everyone's posts about it being HSBC Mortgage (but not really!) I plan to make a phone call to HSBC directly tomorrow since I am off work and can hopefully take the time be left on hold since I'm sure no one will have any idea what to tell me about this matter.  The sad thing is, I AM a customer of theirs and have never had any issues like this in the 20+ years I have been with them

I've been called by them hundreds of times in the last 6 months, at every hour of day and night, 7 days a week.  When I answer, I usually get a pre-recorded "please hold for an important message".  If I do speak to a person, they attempt to tell me my mortgage is past due (which it most certainly isn't) and they attempt to get me to give them my bank account number.  When I try to get a phone number from them so I can call them back, they argue. This is an enormous scam. I sincerely doubt it is in fact HSBC.

They keep calling the house and don't leave a message.  Then they call at work and you have to wait for them to get on the phone after you pickup.
