Our household gets a call from this number several times a day, and there is no answer.

Call the # and have it removed from the system.

They call me all the time as well & i work shift work.  It's more than annoying.  In reading some of teh other posts it sounds like it's a telemarketert for Reliance for which i am a customer.  I am emailing reliance to deal with them

This number has been calling several times a day and does not leave a message. Today I called back and it is GEMMA communications, you can press 1 for English and 1 again for getting your number removed off their call list.

Got 2 calls today, wasn't home, they don't leave messages, most annoying. Called the number back, recording said my number would be removed within next 24 hours. Thank goodness.

i have no business with a person who calls and does not identify themselves when asked. if you call and have something necessary to say then say it!  otherwise, BLANK the BLANK OFF!!!

They just keep calling.  Annoying bunch.  Gemma Communication.  Is this related to the "business Taliban"?  Why are the Fortune 500 companies always hiding underground and Gemma would do the dirty work for them?  Annoying and unethical bunch.

I got this call too.  I'm on the National DNC list too.  Thanks for the information.  So.  It is from Reliance's telemarketer.

This number has been calling my home for the past week, several times a day and is a real nuisance.
We have been registered on the no call list from the beginning but this doesn't seem to be effective against this company.  
I think boycotting Reliance is will help to solve this problem.  Join in....

I just got a call from this number , they asked for my husband. He couldn't understand the person. So we hung up.Whata can we do to stop them from calling us???? This is a nuisance. We want it to stop.

Yeah, you need to put the word "an" between "but" and "immigrant". Also, when starting a sentence after a period, the first word needs a capital letter. So your "omFg" should be "Omfg".

Called and did the automated request to remove my number. Didn't work. Registered a complaint 2 months ago with the CRTC and the calling stopped for about 3 weeks. Now they are back to calling agian. I just registered yet another complaint with the CRTC. Total BS.

Gemma Communications as others know -- simply call the number back and you're on an automated response which one option is to have your number removed.  Choose that option and they confirm your number will be removed in 24 hrs.   I'm optimistic as they have at least on option to be removed.

So far my phone system has blocked 59 calls from them, and counting...

Just called back the 1-800 #. They identified themselves as Gemma Communications and I was able to remove my number from their list.  It should be processed within 24 hrs.

We'll see what happens.

2nd call in as many days. As with other posts it is a telemarketing firm Gemma acting on behalf of Reliance. Asked Reliance to remove my name from its calling list wrt solicitations from 3rd party telemarketers. Expect that I will eventually buy out the heater from Reliance as the cost and relatively small chance of failure make renting uneconomical.

Unidentified telemarketer but it went straight to voicemail since my IP PBX has programming to dump various telemarketer calls (phone never rings). I called the number back but no identification of the company is on their voicemail, just an option to input your number for removal from the marketing list.

Chris, try not to be so judgmental.  Sometimes calling back to have your number removed from a list is a stupid idea, but not always.  People have to use their common sense about this, but not every company that calls people is out to scam them.

The call is indeed from Gemma Communications, but I just called them back, and immediately (after choosing my language) I got a message saying I could have my number removed from their list.  If they keep calling, I'll let you know, but so far they seem pretty above-board.  Don't rage at companies just for doing surveys or for getting surveys done -- it's not the same as some of the scammers out there.

these people do not give up no matter how rude you are with them after the 10th phone call.

I keep getting calls from this number practically on daily basis at odd times, and  a person by the name of Kayla leaves messages. When I called back, there was an automated message stating  you could go through the prompt and have your number removed. I followed the propmt but in vain.  Even today there was a message left on my machine.

Telemarketer for Reliance for your Furnace and Air conditioning. They said we are Gemma Communications which is a telemarketing firm companies hire .  If you go to their website there is a "contact us" button, I clicked on this and you can send an email which I did requesting they take my number off their list - hopefully it will work
