keep getting these calls and no msg left - think its probably political calls

Get several calls from this number.I don't answer unknown numbers

This caller is a robocall explaining truths about the Republican Party's attempt to maintain freedoms, the right to keep & bear arms, and negating otherwise untruths and lies put out by the American Socialist Party, otherwise known as the Democratic Party.

I answered unknown and private callers and its political robo calls
announcing bad stuff about the opposing party. Is it really necessary
to call me 6 to 15 times a day with this crap?
That won't get me on your side. All these calls are crazy and that's
just one day. Its been like this for a few weeks now. The calls are

i might as well disconnect my phone until this republican crap is over. i am a democrat. i got 3 of these calls while i was visiting my mother at the hospital. i'm glad i turned off my anwser machine before i left. i have been bombarded by republican calls all week. what makes them think i want to vote for any of these jokers?

I agree.  There is no reason for political calls to be exempt from the do not call list.  I tried calling the 800 number back and got a recording that said the number is not in service.  I consider any organization that displays a generic or non-existent phone number on caller ID as suspect at best, deceitful at the very least.  If the Republican Party or any other entity is ashamed to display their actual name and phone number, well I think that speaks volumes.  And I will factor that into future decisions, including election considerations.

voicemail.

I wish the do not call list applied to political calls, but of course, the politicians would never vote
for anything that might inconvenience themselves, they would rather inconvenience everyone
else.

They're back. I see from above that this number was inactive from 2008 until now. There will be lots of call between now and November.

Very quiet. Multiple calls. They won't stop calling even when I told them I would call the authorities (police and lawyers) on them if they did not identify themselves. They were not responding but i could hear breathing. To be honest it was starting to scare me. I want them to stop. Why should I change my number for peace of mind.
