Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Same here they said I have to get a green dot money pak card and pay for 6months in advance which seemed weird. Called comcast number from by bill and they said it wasn't legit. This is a scam. The number they called from is 1(855)898-2264.

Hey I am receiving a call with this number 855 328 7913 too. I said I will call you back and when I call after one day nobody respond, this must be a scam.

This scam didn't get me. They're calling me back next Friday the 25th and they said all the things mentioned here nearly word for word. They said I could pay in a years advance of $500 then I said I can't and they said 2 payments, $300 now and $200 next month and I said I would next Friday on the 25 but I'm not. I might confront them idk. The number they're using is 855-328-7913.

WHY?   do people  fall for  such  obvious  scams?

Actually go to comcast's web site and look up the email scam. I merely googled it and got several links in regards to a comcast email scam..

Sree kanala same happend to me they made me fool too .. And i received the same email .u got email from which email address ? I received it from official concast email . What was ur email address ?

Got the same call and the follow up email.  Crooks!  I tried to report it to Comcast.  After an hour and four different departments, I still did not get the right department.  I just gave up.

If you gave them a credit card number or bank account, call that institution immediately and try to have the charge reversed.  Speak to the fraud department if necessary.

Unfortunately, it was too late for us to realize this SCAM! My wife received the phone call and followed the directions and got fooled. I tried to reach out the same number, they keep telling the same garbage. Our account was not credited as they mentioned and when I called them, they said they will look into it and get back to me. STAY AWAY!

SCAM SCAM SCAM  Said they were Comcast and that if I paid a year's bills in advance, it would be 50% off.  I contacted Comcast and they said this was not real.  Do not give these people any personal information.  Unfortunately, they knew my monthly bill and email address, which means they must have gotten all my information from Comcast.  Dirtbags.
