The person that called me was NOT American. He had a very thick Indian accent and was in a loud call center and would not take no for an answer regarding what he was selling. I had to hang up on him and he called me back very rude and angry and STILL would not take no for an answer. He calls regularly and I just have to hang up every time.

My daughter answered. It rang back and the girl on the other end said "This is Amanda with Centurylink" . Then it cut off. Centurylink is our provider.

I GOT THE SAME PHONE CALL AND WHEN I TRIED TO CALL BACK I GOT PHONE NUMBER INVALID. SO NOT A US AREA CODE

If you're on the National Do Not Call list, this covers companies you don't have an existing relationship with (which is why you don't get random calls from AmEx anymore if you don't have an AmEx card), the National Do Not Call list doesn't cover companies like your phone, cable, or utilities. A caller asked for us by name.  The number called is an unlisted number.  Caller didn't know how she got our number.  What a crock of bull***t  A call back immediately went to busy.

Too bad the feds passed a law prohibiting this but it has no teeth and they don't care.

I'm so tired of them calling. They have called every night for two weeks.  When I do answer....it rings back and then hangs up.  When I call them.....the number is unavailable!  I cannot find any information as to what company this belongs to!  Irritating!!!!

I get this number calling me three to four times a week and all they do is hang up will not leave a mess on my machine eitherl

My mother is 86 years old and she gets a call usually twice a day from this number wanting to know if a Roy Holder is there if so press 1 or if not press 2.  Who the heck is these people.  I hope you reading my message.  If she continues to get these calls I will be forced to contact the proper authorities and have you tracked down and dealt with appropriately.

Why do I get these calls?  I subscribed to no call list.

Received call on 3/27 and again today 3/28 and all the ID says is "Not provided" then the number.  It rings 4 times.  I refuse to answer it.

i think its your local phone company,  do any of you have centurylink or embarq telephone service.

they would call to see if you want their new cable tv service callled prism.

Just got a call, when I answered I heard a ring, as though I was making the call, I hung up immediately.

Three phone calls from this number. When I answer, no one is there. When I try to dial it, recording says "This number cannot be completed as dialed."

Have gotten two phone calls from this number late at night but no message left and when you call back no one answers.

Received phone call from this number 20 Jan 2012 and 25 Jan 2012. Left no messages. When I returned the call. Recording said that they were not excepting any calls from my area. So this has to be a junk call. I will never answer this number.
