Actually they can do whatever they want.  I found that out the hard way.  They are a division of the Moduc Tribe and are not subject to the same laws as other creditors.  So the Fair Debt Collection Act means nothing.  They can call and harass you at work, home or anywhere else.  They can tell everyone you owe money, even if you don't.  They are the mafia.   Don't ever borrow from them because our own government cannot stop them.   They sell your information to other companies and they will start debiting your account too.   Close your account if you gave them the information, otherwise your money is theirs.  Be sure to tell your bank of their fraudulent actions and get a letter from your bank stating that is the reason you closed your account.  If they dare to take you to small claims, you'll at least have that letter.  They actually told me they had my Visa account number and were going to start taking money from there without authorization and no one could stop them.  Trying to get an address out of them is impossible.   Don't borrow from them for any reason!

Called the number and the guy was very rude.  They keep calling my number for someone else, he said he updated the client portfolio.  When I tried to ask a question he hung up on me.  If I get any more calls from these folks, I'll escalate to BBB.

After several other calls preceeding, finally determined that 500fastcash was calling to collect what they've already received from me!

Keep getting called from this number as well as 8002478803.  This number belongs to 500FastCash.com.  Also keep getting a message for a Terry Nuber.  I did go to their website and and used their Remove Me link at the bottom of the screen.  Still keep calling.  I also have filed a complaint with the FTC. They still keep calling and leaving messages.

Not sure what else to do.

I get at up to two or three calls each day from these people for a person I don't even know.  I answered it once and told them the person they were asking for was unknown to me and that I have had this number for several years.  They ignored me and kept calling.  They are costing me time, irritation, and money.  How do you stop them?

I did take out a loan with them 2 YEARS AGO and have since paid it off in more ways than one!!!!!! I paid outrageous fees every payday that I couldn't pay it off. And that was just a fee, not even paying towards the principal!!! Please, whatever you do, DON'T get involved with payday loans!!!!!! They charge too much, have questionable wording in their documents(in very small print) and will FEE you to death and then you STILL owe the principal PLUS another FEE if you want to pay it off!! They have gotten plenty of money from me for the loan I took out way back when!!! I will NEVER do it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These people R crooks and they will go in your account and Rob u blind.They call from 8 in the morning until 7 sometime 9 at night.I am not the person that owes them money it is a relative. i asked them not 2 call b cause that person does not live  with me but they refuse 2 listen even though they have that persons phone #.I am a senior citizen and i can't take this frustion, i have even tried 2 talk with them about the problem but then they get nasty with.I would love 2 make this stop.I have had this # since 1977 and would like 2 keep it

I've been getting this call since I got my new number. They've been calling looking for a person that is certainly not me. They call all hours of the day/night. Finally, I decided to call back. The woman answers by asking for my name. I asked why and she said she needed it to help me. So I give her my name. She asks for my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. I asked her why and she said it was to pull up my account. I told her I was not calling about that, but about them taking my number off. She rudely asked "why?!" To which I informed her that the person they were seeking no longer had this number. I got the age old "are you sure?" I lost my temper and told her, "No. You caught me. I've stolen this phone and am using it to call random people. How did you know?" She asked me to calm down and informed me that she would remove my number from the list. If they call back, I will be a force to be reckoned with. Honestly. Shouldn't you answer the phone with "How may I help you today?" instead of "Name?"

Yep, that's definitely 500FastCash calling.  Predatory lender is what that is!  1,000% interest!!!

500FastCash is the caller- Their domain name is privately registered through GoDaddy. You can go to the Godaddy website to get the information on Domains By Proxy. While this service may have started out to protect individuals' identities who register domains, fraudulent companies and  individual scamsters abuse this service to retain anonymity in order to get away with harassing people and stealing your money. The mail contact address is 515 G SE, Miami, OK 74354 . I was able to find this in their electronic document disclosure link at the bottom of the page. Also, the "remove" link to get them to remove your number does not do any good. All it does is collect your email address for further SPAMMING. I google mapped this address and it shows up as Modoc Smoke Shop. Just a house there with a big warehouse across the street. Send this loser a cease and desist letter, and a copy to your state attorney general's office. Send it certified or registered mail. Keep a record of every time they call after you have receipt that they have claimed the letter. SUE THEM AND FILE A COMPLAINT ON THE STATE AND FEDERAL LEVELS! Contact the domain registrar (Godaddy) as well.

Buster - The only legal way to stop them from calling is to send a cease and desist letter by certified mail so you have proof that you have done this. If they violate that, then you have grounds to sue them. See my post above.

The FTC says there are so many of these online companies and they shift names, etc because they are ILLEGAL businesses probably operating out of someones home.

if you go to their website, there is an address you can write to to get them to leave you alone.  by law, they have to send you a written bill and you have 30 days to respond or refute. . .if you have proof you paid them off it shouldn't be to hard to make them go away

FINALLY FOUND OUT WHAT THIS NUMBER WAS.THEY CALL ME ALL HOURS OF THE DAY.AND WHEN I ANSWER ALL I GET IS A RECORDING MESAGE.

They call me all hours of the day and night and when I answer all I get is a recording  How do I stop them from ever calling me again.  They won't give me an address so I can put it in writing.

I keep getting a call at work, a live person will ask for me, but when they leave a message it is a recording asking me to call 800/404-8609.  I don't know what they want, when I call back they have a recording saying " Welcome to 500 Fast Cash, a representative will be right with you, I don't know what these people want from me, they call me about 3 to 5 times a week.  How can I get them to stop calling.

Finally found out what this number was!  500 FASTCASH... Payday loan company.  Now I know who to go after for harrasment.  :)

Forward a complaint to the Attorney General's office.  These people need to be shut down!  I have already done so and they are investgating them.  The more complaints, the better.

I get a call from this number almost daily and if you get one call you get another and then the voicemail they leave behind is for another person entirely!  I've never call that $500 Payday fast loan late night television commercial scam job advertiser!

Go to www.500fastcash.com.  At the bottom will be a link that says "Remove Me".  You can cancel your cell phone number and/or email address.
