I keep getting phone calls from this number and it is a voice mail telling me to call this number. If they keep calling me I will get an attorney and sue them for harassment. I do not know who this is at all.

You can't be arrested for ordinary civil debt.  They are just trying to scare you into giving them money.

This is a kind of extortion, so go to the police and make a complaint.

This scam seems to be originating in the US.  But similar scams originate in India.

These scammers really think we are stupid!!  You cannot get arrested for not paying on a payday loan especially ones you apply for online.  Drives me nuts.

2/3 of these messages don't leave the name of who they are calling or leave a callback number

I have had several voice messages from an automated machine with this number to call back. The name of the company is never left with the message. I just found out who they were when I looked the number up on the internet.

Getting a new phone number really stinks.  These guys have been calling me for about a year, person who used to have this phone number was probably a deadbeat.

The number shows as 888-776-4046 but voice message leaves 800-404-8835. Doesn't say from who, which is why I always Google when I get a call I'm not familiar with. US Fast Cash. I think they will even call so it comes up as "Unknown" to get you to answer. I never answer unknown or blocked calls. Leave a message and I'll decide if it's worth calling back.

An unwanted calls everytime from this number , telling me to call them back . Nobody in this country is obligated to call back  any people  only because they want. Probably somebody call them:THE POLICE:(((

Very persistant and annoying calls!!. The number shows up as 877-820-0379 but the automated message leaves the call back number as 800-404-8835. They even have my name. If it was important and legit, they should have a real person call and explain why.

I'm receiving from this number on my cell phone. They ware wasting my minutes and its very annoying.

Got a phone call from this number and they left an automated message to call back. While I was checking the voicemail, they called back from a number that was only 2 digits off (the last 2 numbers) with the same automated message. Very annoying!

This numer keeps calling leaving a voice message on my work number to call 800-404-8835.  Not sure how to get them to stop!!

Called my office and it was an automated message call 8004048835 immediately. Who the hell do they think they are I don't owe them anything!!!

Calling my job and harrassing me!  How do I stop the calls?

Starting to get robo-calls at work from these people for somebody who worked at my job and had this phone number over four years ago.  They've just left messages so far.  Hopefully I will be here next time they call so I can get them to stop, as the woman they want hasn't been here since 2007!

That's good news, actually. Get them to say that into a digital voice recorder and then retain an attorney and sue them into bankruptcy. you can not be jailed for bad debt. the US does not have a debtors prison. Check out the Fair Debt Collections Act on the FTCs web site.

Someone from this number called me & said i had to use paypal $300 within the next 2 hours or there will be a suit filed with the san mateo county court system & an officer will show up at work or my house & arrest me & to contact upon completion- jmandassociates..i am so freaked out...
