I worked for them years ago- if you are still receiving the calls you can go to the store and they can remove you from receiving the calls. 2. If you pick up you can choose one of the options of opting out. 3. And one should not have to do 3, you can contact Charming Shoppes, INc. I have tried to terminate automatic calls from Catherine's clothing, headquartered in Maamphis, TN (901-363-3900) and have been totally unsuccessful!.  When called the number is ALWAYS busy. I want to know how to stop these calls.

You have to opt in for these calls to start. So somewhere down the road, that phone number was enrolled for the to notify about special sales, etc. And,... they always leave a message.

I have been contacting them since July 2011 about these phone calls.
As for the Opt out option.. It doesn't work..

I get phone calls through out the day often in 20 min intervals.
The first call of the day they leave the sales message the rest of the calls they leave no messages..
I find it odd with it being automated,every call that comes in after the 1st call has no sales message left.
Somebody over there has to be programming the service to do this..

What makes it even more annoying is I even received a e-mail from the company saying I wasn't even opted in to receive these calls..

Catherine's Women's Clothing store...calls everytime they have a sale - even after you tell them in the store that you do not want calls/texts.

Called the hose phone. When I answer they didn't say anything! I hung up.

I purchased a christmas gift 4 yrs ago from this retailer and have been receiving the automated call ever since..... I have called the company repeatedly requesting they remove me (my number) from their call list... it seems to stop for a while but within a few mths starts backup again.

I just got a call from this # for catherines, was a pre-recorded message. I've never heard of a store called Catherines and I have no idea how they got my number. It sounds like a woman's clothing store, and given I'm a single male I would have never shopped there. Spam call.

these are calls just to let you know about a special, or a sale Cathrines is having. I usually get a call every other Friday or so. If you listen thru to the end, I think you can opt out of the calls. I kinda like to hear about any sales they have. Their clothes are more expensive, but much better quality of fluffy girl clothes.

Got the call at 10:25AM while I was at work. I started to open my phone but closed it when I saw it was an 800 number.

I already opted out of being called when I told them not to have a robot call me in the store. I'm tired of having to tell these retail stores not to call me every single time I go, especially if they are going to ignore my instructions anyway.

This is Catherine's "announcement" line. It's just an automated call to alert "Perks Card" holders of an upcoming sale. Sometimes "Perks Card" holders get to shop earlier than the advertised sale date.
It is NOT a call from the collections department or a collection agency. Nobody is asking for money. There is an "opt out" number to call or you can go to your account online and choose to "opt out" of future sales alert calls and/or emails.

everyday I get calls from 1-800-405-9492 I have notified them to stop calling and now that I have discovered the source I will be picketing the store and calling the home office to complain. also 1-800-427-9428

Pleases notify 8004059492 to stop calling anyone that may be a customer of their sometime in the future.That is asking people for money they may not have.
