asked for a particular name - combative, demanding woman - Googled their # and found this site

these messages have just started for me i called back they were looking for someone not ME said they would take my number off and i get another call again later that day how irriating and starting to make me one cranky person

This law company wants to take me to court for a debt I have nothing to do with. I am now looking into resolving it. But Beware, so far it sounds phishy.

I received several calls but never called them back until today. They were very nice and removed my number.

Assest Acceptance has started calling my work number looking for a Jennifer with the same last name as me. But all I get are the automated, computer calls telling me to call them back. F-them, I am a good guy, I have always paid my bills.

I do not owe anyone and resent this company calling me. I am on the no call list

THESE PEOPLE AT 1 HAVE CALLED MY HOUSE LOOKING FOR MY BOYFRIEND AND HAVE BEEN TOLD TO CALL AFTER 6PM AND THEY CALL AT 8AM,2PM, 4PM.6PM.AND HE TALKED TO THEM.BUT THEY CALLED ACTING LIKE THERE WERE HIS FREIND AND THEY DID BUSINESS FOR HIM.THEY ASKED ALL KIND OF PERSONAL QUESTIONS,BUT I CUT THAT OFF.I ALSO TOLD THEM NOT TO CALL MY HOUSE ANYMORE,AND WAS ENFORMED THAT THEY COULD CALL WHEN THEY WANTED TO.

Oh yeah and I also have T-Mobile

they keep calling about a ex's debt. whcih has been paid i have sent in proof of this a nd they refuse to stop!!!

They just called me on a number i've only had for a week. It's not even in my name. I don't know where Drive Financial got my number. absolute crap. They have called every day for 18 days.

I've been receiving calls from this number off and on for a about a month. They never leave a message. I have never tried to call back.

We have been getting this same call everyday for weeks. mostly in the mornning and sometimes in the afternoon and on weekends.I get the recorded message for someone we don't know who has a similar last name as ours and to call the number to resolve, gives some long reference number.

I got a call from this caller too. They were looking for someone with my last name (They left a message where my last name matched but the first name was not mine ). They said it's a personal matter they need to discuss. Seems like a collection agency trying to reach someone using public records and calling everyone with this last name.

Called at almost 9PM..Had no idea who they were but knew it was an Austin TX area code. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. It was called to my cell phone..go figure.

I have recieved this call 6 times in the last 2 months on my Cell Phone and have no idea who these people are. They have called my work number and I made the mistake of answering one day. They said they were trying to collect on a debt on a GTE DSL bill from 5 years ago and I do not owe anything on. Reading these few other peoples problems with the same problem, I wonder what can be done about this?

Got the same type of message about receiving a notice about unpaid debt..called back and talked to somebody..asked who they were looking for and the address..the address was in another state..so i asked them that i am not the person who they are looking for and strongly suggested that they can be more efficient if they bother to match the area code with the address of record to see if they are in the same state. Have not had a call since.

i called the number, told the agent that i was getting messages for someone who wasn't me and they told me they would take my number off in 24-48 hours.

Caller woke me at 8:15AM. I answereed and hung up on caller. Then caller woke me again at 9:20AM. I took the phone off the hook. BTW- I am filing for bankruptcy, and they are still calling!

Received call saying they had talked to my husband regarding Indiana taxes owed & wanted to know when I was sending the money. When I said I needed more information, they wanted a SS# and I refused, then they hung up.

They charged 9.00 to my credit card account.  When I call this number I get a message saying "Your call cannot be answered at this time."  I won't leave them message, but I am disputing this charge.  Can't figure out how they got my credit card number.

Thanks for writing, hotiniowa.  I also just got a charge for $9.05 on my cc under the company "Link Services", and this is the number the cc company gave out--AFTER they gave me a HUGE speel on how I could pay $7.99/month for identity fraud protection...I'm going to dispute it as well...
