I've gotten a call from this number about 5 times in the last couple weeks. It never never even rings long enough for me me to answer. Just one quick ring and then it disconnects.

SAME THING - GOT A VM CLAIMING TO BE PAYPAL ASKING FOR SOME GUY NAMED JUSTIN ..SAYING ITS URGENT I CALL BACK ......MUST BE A SCAM.

Paypal - English/French for CA Customers

Paypal, legit. They left a voicemail asking to call back. It was about my account. When I checked my account (I didn't call back), I did see there was an issue with my account.

Got the call, let it go to VM. Said they were looking for someone who is NOT me. My VM says my first name, but they ask for a "Justin Marie" Uhh yep, that's not me. I'm very deaf so I had to have my mother listen to it. Not impressed if this is real. E-mailed paypal about it.

I also received a call from them, from Paypal,  they asked me for my postal code just for verification and after that they told me whats wrong with my account. I also noticed the accent, asked him where the company is located, they told me in Quebec, maybe thats why the accent, they dont have the same as the rest of canada because some talks french too

I answered, they are legit. They only wanted to tell me that there was a problem with my paypal account. They didnt ask me for personal or bank information. I checked on my paypal account and the information match

Phone calls from 1 800 410 1576 saying they are from Paypal. Already having "phishing" emails advising unknown payments to unknown payees have been completed with "links" to get details of these remittances. Never ever click on the links !!!!!! Forwarded 1 of them to Paypal, they did reply and said the message was fraudulent.

No idea if this is legit or not. Caller had very thick accent, perhaps Asian. I hung up.
