Caller ID read "Unknown Caller" when this Clown phoned me. I screen all calls in which I don't recognize the number, they didn't leave a message on my machine. I've found from Googling that this is a Cancer Fund-raiser center..but still annoying for them to call.

We found a very simple solution for all annoyance calls. We did some research on telephones and went to Best Buy and purchased a Panasonic phone Model KX-TG9333 DECT 6.0. This model has three handsets but you can get the same model with one, two or three. It allows you to block up to 20 phone numbers as long as you have Caller ID. It rings once or twice then disconnects the call. The caller never hears anything. The readout on the phone and the "missed call" list shows "Call Blocked". Just make sure you let the phone ring once or twice to see if it's a blocked call or someone you want to talk to. WE LOVE IT!!!!

Called @ 5:49pm CST left no message. I called back 6:38pm CST- Fund Raising Information Center - recorded message said to call back during normal working hours 10am to 6pm EST. Seems they like to call outside their normal working hours.

I received a call about 4:15 PM Sunday, and listened to the entire statement, About half-way through, the statement that you will get all your money (donation) back by filing the donation with the income tax caught my attention. I questioned the statement, and was assured it was true. I asked for the address and was given 815 Brazos St., Ste 500, 78701, & the phone # 1-800-416-2146. I did not agree to donate.

They called yesterday 2 times, it came up PRIVATE on my caller id. They did not leave a message. They just called again this morning, this time they left a message. The message said something about a Cancer Survivor Fund and they left the 1800 number. I never, never answer an unknown or private call.

I have received a call from this company a couple of times. I am on the Do Not Call list.  I informed the woman on the phone of this fact.  She got huffy with me and told me that she wanted to inform me that a charity is exempt from the Do No Call list.  She was rude and very pushy.

Caller ID noted this call; my callmenot.com device handled it nicely. I'm in Kansas and on the state and national do-not-call lists, so this is an interstate call and may not be legal.

Oh for god's sake.  Charities are exempt from the do not call list people, so shut the hell up!

i also received half of a voicemail message.  i only caught part of the address and their 800 number.  i am also on the do not call list.

hi everybody I have just received a call from this number; they left a message. i do not know if you have ever heard of something called "caller id spoofing"; if you would like to learn more about that please go to: http://www.fakecaller.com/ and read the article ?Fake caller ID and caller ID spoofing." the spoofing method can be used for legitimate purposes or to perpetrate crimes.

if you receive many of these "strange" phone calls or have reason to believe someone is stalking you, please contact your local police department. talk to the officers and ask if you can file a report for telephone misuse and harassment. the officers are perfectly capable of tracing these calls to the true originator. do not be afraid to talk to the officers thinking that your issue is of minor importance. let them determine whether your issue is serious or not. the officers are there to help us but they cannot do that if we do not let them know what goes on.

They called late on a Sunday Night.  Did not leave a message.  I will note that in the past if I get a call from a reputable charitable organization the caller ID identifies the organization. This one said simply 800 service.  The legit ones want you to pick up the phone so they ID themselves.  Therefore, those that do not identify themselves are bogus.

I get calls and dead air from this number. Often. I have never had a message or person. I tried to call to talk to someone but was put on hold for ages so I just faxed them to stop calling. Thanks, C.S.!

If I want to give your organization money I will on my own but to call with a prerecorded message you have just made sure I won't give you a  cent.

Got the call and half a voicemail from this number so I couldn't tell who it was.
