verizon called me with a message that they would pay $245 off my bill if I went to this website. what a crock

Got call.  Did not answer.  Did get new smartphone a couple of days ago.  Why not just display Verizon versus toll free?

I just received a call from Verizon Wireless and I dont even have their service!  They left a message saying that the wanted to thank me for my new device purchase and being a valued verizon customer...... huh!?

Verizon calling to see if everything was all right and if I have any questions to call them. Would be nice if Verizon came up on the Caller ID. Instead of Unknown number!

Funny that Verizon, the phone company, doesn't know how to put 'VERIZON' on the caller-id. If a number comes across as 'UNKNOWN' or 'UNAVAILABLE' I never answer the phone. If you are ashamed of your company name or you are a scammer or anyone else trying to hide something, I don't want to talk to you.

Received a phone call from this number. They wanted to let me know that I was in the process of exceeding my monthly minute allowance for the month and asked me to upgrade to a higher plan. Of course the call counts against your minutes.

I never had verizon, but they keep calling for new phone purchase, phone upgrade, unpaid bill or support. Where did they get my number? I am not their customer..very ANNOYING!

I'm getting Verizon calling my number for my boyfriend's account because he listed me as the alternate number. grrrr!

A nice man with a great voice called me yesterday afternoon from this number. It is VERIZON WIRELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE and he wanted to know if I had any questions/concerns about using my new smartphone. He also told me I am saving the maximum amount possible because I am also a VERIZON FIOS customer. I had no idea they even gave me a discount for that! Also said to call anytime if I had questions. Just a friendly courtesy call.

This is a call from Verizon b/c I just bought an iPhone. I resent their harassing me like this. I am on a DO NOT CALL list, but they continue to call several times a day. using up my time as well.

didn't answer call. left me voice mail addressed me by name and said they wanted to answer my questions about my account. I never called them. never said where they were calling from

Number showed up as a missed call on my daughter's trac phone - its not through Verizon.  Why the heck are they calling random phones not even on their plan?  Just leave us alone please.

Repeatedly calls asking for individuals with a particular last name. Have told them repeatedly that that family has not had this number in well over a year, that this BUSINESS has for well over a year. Asked them to take our number off their call list. The just hang up and then keep calling.

Scuse me, I owe you nothing, as in, up to date & current. Like others, I get hung up on when I answer my home phone which isn't Verizon. I actually have Uverse & don't pay for unlimited calls so I'm LIMITED to minutes on my house phone. Wonder why I don't answer when it says "Toll Free Call"? My Verizon Cell account is up for renewal, now the calls start just like last time it was. Maybe I'll look around.

it is from Verizon.  They have a free offer to upgrade my 3G phone to 4G phone, sounds sweet.  I was in between something, so, I told them I will call back.  When I called back 5 hours after their first phone call, they have the record that their rep called me, but they couldn't find the deal.

Got called too, didn't answer.  Signed up for a new phone a couple weeks ago.  They called my home number which is the number I gave them when I signed up.  Nothing to see here, moving on...

your Vzn contract is or has expired and they want to rope you in for another 2 years....unless you want another phone dont do it..its not needed and gets you out of any contractual issues.

plan ran out 6months ago, they probably want me to sign up again

Some woman left a message claiming she was calling on behalf of Verizon Wireless. She sounded as if she was laughing while leaving the message. Deleted the message. If I wanted to check my calling plan, I'd go to the Verizon website, local store or call Verizon myself. I don't care if it is actually Verizon or not, I don't accept telemarketing calls. Even from companies I do business with.

I agree.  Just because they have my UNLISTED phone number, doesn't mean that THEY get to use it to telemarket me!  That's why I have it unlisted....duh

Probably wanted to sell me something. I don't intend to call back.

I just got a call from this number, and she calls on behalf of Verizon if i have any qns about my service.She went through my bills and helped my to save few bucks!

Not calling me to collect money. My Cell bill is paid in full and on time every month. It was a call to see how I like my XOOM which I bought 2 weeks ago.
