Returning the call, the recording answers with "Thank you for calling PRC".  PRC, evidently, is Professional Research Consultants, and conducts hospital surveys.  Logical, since I recently had a hospital stay.

I totally agree with you. My husband in hospital Mother's Day week & I have received several calls from this number. If legit they should say so. I don't need to do a survey. I'm going to write the hospital personally with my negative comments on the last 2 days of treatment for my husband from the nursing staff (horrible, had I not been there one would have missed giving my husband his antibiotic in his IV. He had a very serious infection. She FORGOT! Excuse me, & you are a RN taking care of really sick people). After this experience, I'm not surprised that so many people die in the hospital. Don't take this wrong. My husband had excellent care first 3 days from his nurses (have their names as well, will praise them). Last 2 days the RN's didn't do their jobs at all, just getting a paycheck to chat, take breaks. I have several pages of notes, times, names, etc. I find when you have good notes you can sometimes get better results. Sorry this is long but hopefully will help someone else.

They will stop calling, if this a survey for a hosp.  Why, is a big deal.  To stop calling.  They nothing till you who they are up front.  If this a hosp survey why dont they say so up front.  Like. Hi. This is st marys hosp and we are doing a survey. On your stay.  They dont that. Its a scam scam.  

received a call from survey company "PRC, Professional Research company, wanted to interview my husband about a stay in hospital.  Person became angry when my husband refused survey on phone.

1-800-418-0507, 413-284-4639 PRC Doctor's and Hospitals hire them to do surveys. I asked for a number to call back and verify this. I told the woman Rita I was not comfortable giving out information about my Daughter to just anyone. She gave me the call back number and said she understood and would do a follow up in a few days. She was professional about it. Our Doctor's is Quabbin Pediatrics.

You or someone in your family must have had a recent hospital stay. They are doing a survey on the care the patient received. Very nice people to tallk to.

Call them and have them put your # on the DO NOT CALL list and it will be resolved with no future calls made.  Your phone was just automaticaly generated from your area.

this same 800 # has been calling my cell phone and leaving no vm so I called back and spoke to a really nice young girl that answered the phone "PRC how may I help you?"  so I asked what kind of business this is and she explained to me that they conduct surveys for Dr's and hospitals and that my # was automatically generated from the area I live in, so I told her I was not interested and to put my # on the DO NOT CALL list and she said no problem she would do so.
NO HARM DONE.

These jerks are calling my cell phone, which means the hospital must have given out my personal information!  I had an unscheduled hospital stay earlier this month when I was out of town.  Will know better that to give anyone my cell phone number if there's ever a next time.

Got call but the girl said her computer went down & would call back. I called & they answered PRC. From what I read above, it is a hospital survey. I just got out of the hospital. 3 weeks ago.

Trevor Witty left a message indicating he was a private investigator and to please return his call.  Left a different number to call back on but 800-418-0507 is what came up on my caller id.

when i called the number back the lady said this is "PRC" .

This call was from Mayo Clinic Hospital asking us to take a survey.

I didnt answer when they called me. I called them a few minutes later and thay said that someone was trying to call me to do a survey about doctors and hospitals .they also said that is my name comes up on the list before the survey is closed that I would get a call at that time.

I have been receiving calls and no voice messages from this number.  I wish to have all calls stopped from this number
