They call continuously and never leave a message. If this is indeed some sort of bill collector, they should be stating their name and who they are calling for. I don't owe any medical bills so the fact that they keep calling without leaving a message left me no choice but to file a complaint. Voice mail is set up so there is no need for them to keep calling over and over, plus I don't answer calls from 800 numbers or those that are unknown to me.

I am being constantly called by this business and I don't even know what for. You call back and leave your name and number. I am on pertmanent ssi disability and told my hospital that I would be making payment on the middle of May. If this is in reference to that, I don't know maybe the call was meant for my husbsnd, WGAF  just hope the fools will quit calling my husband has a hospital that has been paid for service and he refuses to pay them again, and I don't blame him I was there when they debited his account for 200-. I am just going to avoid the calls unless a person is on the other end.

I got this message about an outstanding medical bill from a NC hospital.  My daughter was recently hospitalized there in which I received a bill in the mail and which I paid in full.  This caller however told me that after insurance, I still owed $50 some dollars.  I told him how I paid this bill already in full.  He said that that must be something different, but if I paid my bill today, I would get a 15% discount.  I told him there was no way I was going to give him my credit card info over the phone to some 800 number.  He asked if I wanted to ask him any questions where he could verify.  I said - send me a bill in the mail.  I would not trust these people - I have yet to receive a bill for $50 some dollars...

HSMI will not stop calling me, so I reported them to the Do Not Call List.  Their number is

Received calls from 1-800-425-0435 with "Unknown Name" on the CallerID. As a policy, no one in the family picks up these types of calls so the answering machine got it. An automated sounding voice left a name and the telephone number and an extension to our local hospital. Since the time I was discharged from the hospital for emergency surgery about a month ago, whoever this number belongs to keeps calling at least three times per week. When I asked the local hospital who might be behind this toll-free number, they simply stated that it was a "business arrangement" between the business office of the hospital group and this unknown company.

They called but did not leave a message. When I called the number back they were Healthcare Physical (Physician?) Management Corporation. I can only assume they are trying to collect on a medical bill, but that is odd since I started getting the calls just a week after an emergency room visit and before the first bill arrived! There are no outstanding issues on my visit other than the bill, so I don't think it would be anything else.

this is a company that is trying to get you to pay your hospital bill in a timely manner without them having to send it on to debt collectors.  i guess from people like me not paying hospital bills because they charge A S**T TON of money for services that cost maybe 20 bux. they got people calling you first thing to ensure payment.  i just tell them 'charge it to the game' and hang up.

I did some research and found out this company is Healthcare Fiscal Management, Inc.  Their web site is www.hfmi.com and a couple of phone numbers are listed in their Contact tab:  1-800-282-9323 and 1-800- 584-5545.  Their address is 3440 Federal Dr., Ste 130, Egan, MN 55122.   I called one of the above numbers and asked for someone in collections.  They admitted they have an automated dialer which calls every day.  In our case another person had used our phone number, but there was no way to straighten this out on the 1-800-425-0435 numbers since no one answers.

I intend to report them to NC's Attorney General.  There business practices are irresponsible and should be stopped.

this number will call my house phone & i get the message on my screen "NO DATA" then it immediately rolls over to my cell # & then no one is there...really getting sick of this...normally if i owe a doctor or hospital bill, they call me or it is paid by myself at the time of service..something needs to be done about these kinds of peope!!!

This company is called HealthCare Fiscal Management, based out of Minnesota. They are a contract company who employs "Patient Financial Counselors" to various hospitals around the country. Some employees are actually located inside of the hospital. During my last visit to St. Mary's Hospital in Georgia, an HFMI employee was the person who discharged me.

I just got called today from that same number, claiming to be Clayton Medical Center.... i was in an auto accident and had been billed, they claimed that it was $2900.00 and that the bills were mailed out every two weeks....I told em, don't expect me to pay it! I never once received a bill.  My next call is to the hospital to find out the truth!

Debt collectors LIE - NEVER EVER TRUST THEM.  

Call the hospital directly - also contact your insurance company..  My insurance company sends a statement that tells me EXACTLY what my portion of the bill should be based on their agreement with the medical provider.  So if I get a bill for more than that I can include a copy of my insurance statement with the payment.

This was my first and last trust me. If you're in the state of Florida, please give this number to the Florida State Attorney's Office as they are in violation of the newly enacted "Robo-Dial" laws. I've already nailed one of these idiots. NCO Financial. It's "Send someone to jail" day. Ask your local State Attorney's office. It's very gratifying to nail these "IDIOTS".

It's about a medical bill. I've answered calls from this phone # before and it was about a recent hospital bill from the hospital where I work. They were just calling to let me know that my insurance had payed and let me know how much I owed, (my co-pay,) and offered me a 10% discount if I could make my payment within the next 10 days.
Apparently this is a company that handles bills for many differnt hospitals. This hospital is located in Georgia.

Just got a call from this number also. It sounds like it's about a bill for a emergency room visit, a visit that was less than 3 weeks ago. WTF? Why are these people calling me already?
