I received a fraudulent call from this number this morning asking for a person who I did not know.

This call was actually customer service for a Government funded refi option...FHA.

I have a mortgage with this company and they start calling on the 3rd of each month on an average of 2 times per day asking for payment. Sometimes up to 5 times a day.  they will call me at work, home and cell phone.

If Citigroup bought out AMC Mortgage Services whereis that documentation from AMC to us in a letter???

This 800 service is a pain. The people who call don't have give their name or anything. I'm on the no call list too. I certainly won't answer a phone call that doesn't give their name. Most of them simply have a machine that tells you to call another number. All of these numbers should be shut down.

they call me and not speak...   then they call back and hassel you.. they call everyday two maby as much as 5times a day.i cant get threw to these people that i am going to be late with my payment ...they are not satisfied withh there high penalties...these are the worst group of human beings on this earth..

I returned this call. A customer service rep told me they are now known as Citi Residential Lending. Citigroup bought out AMC Mortgage Services (FKA Ameriquest) and they are now part of Citigroup.

Sounds like your landlord isn't paying the mortgage. That's why they are calling.  It's Citi Residential.  Argh.  Good luck!

My own personal blog... Called today 5/8/08 at 12:52pm. Once again we were not home -- thank goodness. Now if I can only figure out who keeps calling such that it comes in "out of area" without having to pick up...

Am I the only one getting these people? The more we find out about the owner of this condo, the shadier he gets, so I am somehow not suprised that we are being harassed by these people. This time they called twice today (5/5/08) with the last call at 4:31pm.

Here we go AGAIN... 2 calls on 4/25/08 with the last at 2:05pm. So far only one call this morning 4/26/08 at 9:00am. Also, we have been getting a lot of "out of area" calls so who knows -- this could be them too.

This is almost turning in to my own personal blog. This number called 4 times on 4/24/08 with the last call at 6:21pm. Luckly we were not home. We would not pick up anyway. The caller id said "800 Service". A second round of calls from 866-647-3068 (2 of them) came in today also and had the "800 Service" caller id so I am thinking these might be linked.

Another call this morning 4/19 at 9:30am. They are definately starting to call more often as you can probably tell. Will keep on ignoring the calls because I know saying "the owner is not here we are only renting" will do no good. So I don't make too many posts, I will start posting once per 3-5 calls we receive.

ANOTHER call 1:54pm 4/18/08. "800 Service" with this number on the ID. If I am reading my caller id log correctly, I believe they might have called 4 times. At least we are never home when these calls come in. I feel sorry for whomever buys this condo after we move out.

Another call received around 4:00pm 4/15/08. No message left.

Received a call from this number on 3/31/08 at 3:02pm. We were not home at the condo. No message left -- probably calling for the owner of the condo who is not here. Assuming a debt collector of sorts.

LOOK UP THE FCC (FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS), IT WILL TELL YOU WHAT YOU RIGHTS ARE AND HOW YOU CAN GET THEM TO STOP CALLING OR THEY COULD BE FINED.

I know these scum bags.  They are not honoring the terms of my original Ameriquest mortgage.  They raised my rate by 2 points.  I will cost me several hundred dollars a month until my re-fi goes through.  Do NOT do business with these criminals.

This place calls 5 times a day.  We tell them the people they are looking for do not live here, we do not know them, but they keep calling.   I am going to research what i can do to make them stop.

800-430-5262 is either AMC mortgage collections arm or Banco popular.  They want money as a result of a subprime loan.  Be ware.  You could have amortgage and not know it due to identity theft...
