They have told me who they are each and every time I deal with them! I even set up reminders for them to call me monthly to pay because their website doesn't accept debit cards.

Key Bank told me it is the collection agency representing them.

This is the collections agency representing Key Bank, Allied International Credit. It is legit. I called Key Bank to confirm and found my credit score was affected by this as well.

This is Key Bank, they call me when my student loans are past due.  Now, they're past due because they took almost all of my payment that I asked to be put towards FUTURE PRINCIPAL BALANCE and applied it to interest, but it is not a scam, it is Key Bank.  They have to ask your personal info to get into your account.  Sometimes they call wrong numbers, or if your family listed you as a referrence on their application, you will get calls when they are behind on their payments.  Tell your family members to pay their bills, this number will stop calling you.  Promise.  

Wrong.  I have absolutely no unpaid bills.  What a know it all you are.  These people are pests and they are bothering law abiding citizens.  Period.

I have been getting a call from these scammers for a while. I won't ever answer. There is never a message so it must be fraudulent. DONT TELL THESE PIECES OF S**T ANYTHING!!!!

I get telephone calls from different numbers on my public listed home phone. I am not attempting to hide from theses ppl & plan to return to work asap to take care of my responsiblities! Even if I talk to someone & let them know that I am unemployed at the time and having surgery for cancer they must not note people's acct. I get calls at least 3+ times per day as early as 7am & as late as 10pm. Sometimes I am near the phone & answer, but other times I come home to find toll free numbers appearing on my caller ID. I google the numbers to find out it is linked to Key Bank or Allied International. I am not sure how other sick ppl would feel, but when you are physically sick and cannot get rest how can anyone expect a quick recovery? I have spoke with ppl from the US & an India call center & maybe the language barrier has something to do with these ppl not making notes in the "Notes" portion for acct holders. For the Americans that I have spoken with...Shame on you for not having the decency to note my acct! I cannot wait to find another job, but I have to have the surgery & recover first! I am certainly going to pay my student loans back (I have in the past) & with this bank system...obviously the sooner the better!! Do not deal with Key Bank for student loan services!!

They call me frequently & always hang up with no message. Key Bank denies it is them. I do not owe anyone a cent! So it is not debt collectors. It is a scam!

It is legit. It is Key Bank collection dept, ... you probably have a line credit/ cash reserve that you need to currently pay on and are 30 days past due. Call the number back, and yes they will ask you for your personal info, social and/or acct number.

*If they keep on calling you its because you have not been paying on a balance. Afterall, they are a collection dept.

accounts current .... did it maybe occur to you that perhaps you could have more than one student loan with aes, as they do service other banks other than key, and that the loan with us is past due or do you automatically assume that once you click that button for an online pmt it instantly clears and posts to all systems?  For all you other delightful debtors out there an online bill pay 9 times out of 10 shows cleared from your bank because they take the funds out and then mail us a physical cheque.

I received numerous phone calls from this number, usually at about 8:30 am.  When I answer, they hang up immediately.  Not sure what they want but I wish they would stop calling

This number is definitely a fraud. I work for KeyBank and we would never call you and ask for a SSN# or an account number. We already have all of that information if you actually have an account with us so we wouldn't need you to verify that. Also, it wouldn't be a collections person calling you as they would also have all of your information. Basically, never ever give out any personal information whether that is your acct. number, SSN, debit card number,etc to an unknown caller. The best thing to do if you have a question about your account at Key is to call your local branch or the 800 number found on the back of your debit card.

I received an automated message to call this number regarding a Key Bank account.  I called to find out what they were talking about.  They started asking personal questions, which I refused to answer since I had no way of knowing if it was really Key Bank or what they wanted from me.  They said if I wouldn't cooperate I would have to visit my local branch.  Funny, since there are no branches within 100 miles of my house...

I received a call from a person that said they were from Key Bank. I heard a lot of background noise that sounded like a calling center. He said it was in regards to a personal business letter (I had no idea what he meant). He asked me to confirm my social security number. I told him I cannot give that information without confirming where he is really calling from. He gave me this number (800-432-0201). I googled it and found out that other people are apparently getting scammed with this number.

Rec'd several calls from this number.  They will not give me any info but are asking me to give them account numbers, etc.  My branch manager said Key Bank would NEVER ask for that info!

There was a message on my answering machine when I got home tonight, asking my sister (who has never lived with me or in this County) to call back because they were verifying information.  I was put on hold for a really long time then transferred to a voicemail when I asked questions on what this was regarding. It sounds like a SCAM!

FRAUD! These are scammers claiming to be from KEY BANK.

Those of you whining about being hung up on really need to grow up.. have you heard of something called technology.. There are computer systems out there that are programed to dial 1000s of phone#s all at the same time to try and get someone on the phone, and the only reason you get hung up on is because 1-everyone is busy talking to someone...2- you took to damn long to pick up and other ppl were in line before you to pick up.... And really... if you are getting a call from that # you are in collections... may be if you werent soo concerned about someone calling you from india... you might want to pay a lil'attention to paying some of your unpaid bills.
Oh & calls @ 830 am... well by law they can from 8am-9pm in your time zone... so grow up & pay your bills
