Rec'd vm msg to call 800-503-2706 in an attempt to collect a debt. My husband called the number back and upon calling back the rep, Steven from ELSCCA insisted he could only talk with me and asked for my personal information verification. I ask him what it was about and he said he could not tell me unless I verified my personal info. I told him I had not gotten anything in the mail about this and I have paid my bills. He continued to refuse to advise me of what it was about but insisted I confirm my personla information. I told him I would not do that and asked him again what the name of his company was and he said only the letters, ELSCCA.  He said, since we weren't getting anywhere they would call another day and I told him it would not be any different. Upon checking with web site everycall, it showed 503 was el salvador.

I just got a call from them 2 days ago (a recorded message) and suspected it was a scam.  Their return phone number is 877-611-1815

They say they're calling to collect a debt from myself but call my mother and my aunt and uncle but not me. I've called them and told them to only deal with me by calling my number only and they show no account for me but they repeatedly call and harass my family members.

Tired of people calling my house pretending to be a sales person or asking for people who never lived here who do not exist, and its pissing me off. I'm about to call Charter Cable and get my house number disconnected for good and buy a Prepaid sell phone.

They are looking for someone I do not know.

These people keep calling me  I have NEVER had an account with AT&T in my life. I told them to stop but to no avail...will send a cease and desist letter if I can get a valid address. These people S--K big time.

I'm only 13 and some wired man asks for some man I've never heard of... They keep calling back I just ignore them though

They keep asking for someone who does not even live at my house. They are immensely rude and keeping calling even after I told them that person did not live there.

This man calls repeatedly looking for someone that doesn't live here. I tell him that, he doesn't believe me and keeps calling back. I'm just looking to report and block this craziness!

They have been calling several times a day on and off for over a week. I have told them repeatedly that the person they're looking for doesn't live here, but they just don't believe me. They say they keep getting a call from my number--and it's the same man who calls everytime.

These people will call you endlessly, even if you don't owe them. I talked to them once and told them I would only talk to AT&T directly because I ended up in a situation where we had cell service with AT&T for 9 days and they tried to charge us an early disconnect fee for $1,450. Best bet is not to answer the phone. They usually call between three and ten times a day. I agree with the rudeness and animosity on their part.

fyi. even if you are on a/the Do Not Call list, the telemarketer/annoyance calls are purposefully using automated dialers and pre-recorded message asking someone/whomever/not you to call back to them, regardless of whether it is an 8xx toll free number or not. DO NOT CALL BACK, even if you just want to tell them to remove you from their call list or try to correct their mistakenly calling for a party that is not you.

Why? because by calling them, you have just unwittingly "opted in" as you have voluntarily called them. Therefore, you are now permanently and legally affixed into their database of ok-to-call-mercilessly and/or sell off this number to other aggressive marketeers or even unscrupulous others as this industry is very incestuous with co/cross/complementary marketing organizations and affiliates.

Again, if you call back, you will be fair game for them to use and resell your number and possibly even your name if it is available on caller ID even if you don't know it is being transmitted.

I don't even have AT&T.  I always get numerous calls from numerous numbers, asking for someone eles, or not even leaving a message at all. If I answer the phone it's an automated voice.  The last person I talked to said she would remove my number because Tami doesnt live here and we don't know her.  That lasted one week and the calls have started again, only now, there is no one there when we answer. When I answer the phone and no one is there I say, "We are on the do not call list, and I'm calling the FTC and my lawyer, don't call again."  So tired of this I think I will go to my lawyer.  So tired of waking up every morning to the phone ringing.  Better than an alarm clock????

Send them a cease communication letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested demanding they stop calling or you will take legal action against them for harassing a non-debtor.

What idiots.. We bought this house over 2 years ago and still get debt collectors calling us.. How in the H3LL do they associate my personal number which I've had for nearly 30 years.. to this person who formerly lived in this house.???   That is an INVASION OF MY PRIVACY..  HOW DO WE STOP THEM.??   I also get mail for them..which the post office can't seem to stop.. They must owe someone a bunch of money to get this determined to find them by bugging me...   Doesn't matter what I say they still keep calling.. This number is one of many that call..  JUST SICK OF IT.!

This is a forum to post/report calls from harassing companies, not a place for you who obviously has too much time on your hands to call people names and do your own harassment! Find somewhere else to spew your opinions on peoples problems. If you are not on here to report a problem then you have no business pn here in the first place. Get a life.

I just received a call from someone telling me they were with ELSCCA. I asked what that was, they declined to answer. Told me it was a very important business answer. Then asked me for my social security # over the phone! I asked again what was ELSCCA. He again would not tell me and tried for my SSN. This call came in restricted on my cell # by the way. Anyway, the third time I asked who he was with, what exactly is this ELSCCA outfit and he still would not answer me I told him that if he couldnt supply me with a very basic piece of information, calling from a blocked #, and wanting my SSN over the phone that his behavior was beyond rude and inappropriate and I wasnt giving him any info. Also that they best not call this # again, ever. From reading others posts I see this is probably the first of a line of b***s*** coming my way. Hope everyone has theirs resolved, I personally have zero time to deal with this kind of harassment.

absolute horrible place to deal with! I called today to actually start mkeing payments and to setup a payment plan. first call i was on hold for 16 minutes 55 seconds hung up called backgot a different representatitve and was then HUNG UP ON!!!!!!! seriousy if you dont want my money then whydo u call all the time

Im receiving rude phone calls from this company on an old bill that I had already settled with a company and they requested my personal information. They apparently had most of my information and was requesting that I send them 2400.00 and 350.00 per month for 9 months. When I told them that was impossible, they became extremely rude and told me I had to take responsibility for my bills. So I hung up on them. Is this company legite or not? I ve seen lots of postings online stating that they arent legite. How can we stop this?

They called my parents who live 16 hrs away from us asking for any information about my husband. Its interesting that they were able to dig into my husbands background info somehow find out my oddly spelled madien name and call my parents. Of course my parents contacted me and I called the number. They are claiming that I owe AT&T $60.00 and r trying to collect it. I asked them if they knew about the privacy laws and they had no idea. I also called AT&T who says I do not owe them any money and they are opening an investigastion about the call.

These idiots at EOCCA keep calling my home phone and leaving a message for a Joanne ______.  They are obnoxious and arrogant and stupid beyong description.  Today, August 2, 2011, I called them back AGAIN to ask them to remove my phone # from their records.   I DO NOT KNOW THIS PERSON THEY ARE TRYING TO CONTACT.  If this "collection agency" calls me one more time, I am going to get an attorney and sue them for harassment.

I don't remember the number they called from but a person by the name of Heather told me I owed Comcast $44.00 which I did. I had waited for them to send a final bill. After I answered the call I immediately said I would pay the bill. Heather transferred me to her supervisor Aaron. He said since I had paid this would not hit my credit report. Well it did right after I paid and EOCCA refuses to remove it. They are liars and dirt bags.

KEEP getting calls about a student loan that is not mine. my loans have been paid off for 15+ years
also i just got student loans again therefore they cannot be my loans if they were 20 yrs in default i would not have gotten another loan so people check out all companies before you pay COLLECTORS GET COMMISSION  THIS IS WHY THEY THEY ARE SO PUSHY
