Calls often, automated response asking for me to stay on the line, then hangs up without leaving a message.

SAme here. How do I block this. They have called three times in two weeks. One time I answered and it said please hold for the next operator and then nothing. It just hung up. My advise, just don't answer it.

Same here, they keep calling with a robo call at first, then a real person picks up. Last one said something I didnt understand and hung up when I asked they they wanted to leave a message for their intended person (which was me, but I dont entertain these a***oles unless I know it is actually a valid call)

As far as I can tell from my research, it is from General Revenue Service, a shady operation at best it sounds like

I have been getting repeated calls from this number looking for someone I don't know. I just called it back and asked to have my number removed because it was wasting my cell phone minutes. We'll see if they actually do it.

They called and when I told them the person they were looking for was not available and asked for a name and contact number they hang up.. sound really important to me...... lol

I have been getting phone calls from this number for a few months i FINALY got a person and it is General Revenue Service.

I have received a few calls from this number, however, they never leave a message, so I don't bother to return their call.

I just got a call from this number, claims to be Sally Mae, however according to the "real" Sally Mae my loans aren't due to being paid.  Fraud, is what I was told, since they said they had no records of trying to contact me, be warned of this number!

I got the same call today and they said it was a business call, but would not leave a return number etc.  Nor would they tell me what it's about.  I don't have businesses calling my home for nothing, and if I did they would be identifying themselves.

Calls repeatedly asking for people who do not live here and never have.  We've had our number for almost 30 years.  The people they ask for share our very common last name.
I threatened to report them for harrassment if it doesn't stop.
