This is a scam.  They use different 800 and 888 phone numbers with caller ID TOLL FREE CALL.  I talked to this "Chris Taylor".  Heavy Indian accent.  50% off of Dish Network bill.  Too good to be true.  Eventually want to get access to your Dish Network online account by getting your PIN.  Then they can reset your password, can update your billing profile with a fake credit card account and "purchase" the services they are offering you.  You see the services added on your receiver, seems legit, they convince you to pony up a mail order to them, poof you've been scammed.  I did not fall for it, this is what I've read has happened to others.

I got the same call from Catherine Logan tired to convience me and later transferred to Chris Taylor, who eventually hung up on me after 45mins of conviencing me. I am glad I did not cave in..

This is a scam!!! Do not give them your passcode because that's how they will access your online account with dish, make changes to your account and request payment through a Green Dot Money Pak card.

I received the same call & the lady called Annie Williams offered me the same offer. This is a scam!!! She transferred me to a Chris Taylor, both with heavy Indian accents, who offered me additional 2 free channels if I signed up for this. He asked me to purchase a Green Money Dot Pak, load it with the lump sum ($800) & then call him back to give him the card number. I've already reported it to my local police department and they've opened an investigation into this matter.

A lady calling herself Catherine Logan from Dish Network called from this number offering 50% off if paid in one lumpsum of 12 months total bill.  Not sure if it's a scam
