This is correct, Pennsylvania Enrollment Services.  If you are in Pennsylvania and receive benefits from DPW, this is probably for you or someone in your household.  If not, it's most likely a wrong number.  I have only received one call/voicemail from this number.  The lady's voice who is speaking is a text-to-speech robot.

There are many typographical errors in other users' comments -- just let it go to voicemail if it's not for you, and as always, do not ever give your information out to anyone calling whom you cannot verify -- no need to get Internet Rambo, however!

If you are indeed the intended recipient, follow up through proper channels.  If it's a wrong number, just delete the voicemail, although you may certainly contact them to get your number removed if it becomes a nuisance.

Not a scam.  My son has AmeriHealth Mercy through PA Medicaid.  He was just recently reapproved, so I am expecting his new cards in the mail any day.  I screen all my calls these days though because I am tired of bill collectors calling me for bills that aren't mine and I've never even heard of the frigging people they are looking for, and stupid home improvement companies and no matter how many times I tell them I live in an apartment they won't take my number off their list...etc.  Anyways, if you recently applied for or get Medicaid benefits, that's probably what this one is about.

This number is for PA Enrollment Services.  I keep receiving this call on my cell phone.  I called the local welfare office and they did verify that this is a legitimate company.  I just spent the last half hour trying to get this number removed from their system, but it is legitimate.  If you receive medicaid then you want to call them back.  It is to choose your medical plan and pcp.  If they are calling you then your number is in their system for someone.  If not you then someone else.  I was very concerned when I received this call the first time because the first thing this company asks for is your social security number.  Before I would even speak with them about anything, I made some other phone calls.  If it is for you, you should have received a package in the mail to review first.  Or at least been informed by your local caseworker.  I hope that this helps everyone who is receiving these phone calls.

Got a robo-call from an official sounding recorded female voice, identifying  the call as coming
from Pennsylvania Enrollment Services. The message indicated that I was supposed to expect a
large envelope in the mail, soon, containing enrollment materials. Also, the voice said I needed to
fill out the paperwork,  select a plan from one form and a doctor from another form, sign and
return in the self addressed, stamped envelope; "no postage required." If I have any questions
call 800-440-3989 or go to web site <http://ennrollmentnow.net>. For kicks, I proceded to check
out <ennrollmentnow.net> Instead I got cross site directed to <http://searchdiscovered.com>.
Presently, I receive a "This site has a poor reputation"  warning from WOT (World Of Trust). I am
a subscriber.
The owners of 800-440-3989 are purpatrating a variety of scams, using a combination of
telephone, US Mail, and the Internet. It looks like the shotgun method of social engineering.

AmeriHealth Mercy Health Plan (http://www.amerihealthmercyhp.com/)?in very official sounding language, they informed that my enrollment materials would be coming in the mail soon and I needed to fill out the forms and return them.  Sounds like a scam to me.
