Odd, Allied Interstate (iQor) must have changed their BBB headquarters from Columbus OH to http://www.bbb.org/centralohio/business-revie ... ny-oh-70000915/ They have 35 disclosed locations but no disclosure of networks, associations and affiliations. Trying to discuss verbally or in writing with these predatory cowards is useless. Contact all state and federal consumer protection agencies when dealing with this corrupt, abusive, and predatory business culture and personnel. Don't be surprised that even when they finally disclose that it's them that contacting their BBB numbers for information that you're are transferred to India or the Philippines who of course have no information. Talk about deceptive tactics! Networks may include Convergys, NCO Group, Ocwen, Portfolio Recovery, AFNI, and MCM.

Last week our company had received over 60 calls from 1-800-441-2982, after we answer the phone we hear a click and that's it.  We have a large volume of service calls and this has been very inconvenient and aggravating.  Today is Monday and not yet noon and we have had 7 calls already - have seen no end to this mess!

They are from India been employed by companies here in states to collect old debts some as old as ten years or more. They are all from India and have very thick accents and always want you to verify information first then want you to pay bill today or else you go to jail, get fired or any threat they can come up with...they have been calling me for months and I have reported them but to no avail...the FTC will not do anything about them...so I suggest contacting your state rep...and that may or may not help!!!

you are so correct they are really slow and malicious to boot...all call form India scammers trying to collect on phony debt...payday loans possibly...

Some one from this number keeps calling me day after day. They are bill collectors looking for " Carters " . I have told them 1,000 times they have the wrong number , and they say they will remove my number from their list . They just have a different person call.
Now I`m not a " Carter " , I have no Idea who the Carters are .  I don`t owe any one any thing . I don`t have a credit card I only use cash . Please make them stop calling me . Please . Thank you .

They have been calling my house multiple times a day for a person who owes money that I do not know. I have had this phone # for 2 12 year and have been receiving collection calls for at least 3 different people with this persons last name. No matter how many times I tell them I do not know any of these people, they KEEP calling. I am now keeping records of the times they call and who they ask for and will be turning it over to the attorney general and a lawyer if need be.?

Got a call this morning from this number. Yep, a zombie Iranian or whomever, asking for a Hazzel Sindar (sp?). I said Hazza Booboo, who? I'm pretty sure no one by that name has ever has this phone number unless it was 10 years ago or more; most likely never. Why do all these idiots seem to have an accent that you could cut like cheese? I seem to have pissed off all the English speaking A-holes, can't imagine why. I'm surprised my computer wasn't sending out "ERROR MESSAGE" asking them to call me. I didn't have time to ask if I could open a port so they could come in and fix all my problems. At least I get a small satisfaction f'-ing with them until they hang up. Miserable Miscreants.

Has been leaving messages on my machine for over a month. I called aback and they are looking for somone who does not live here. They said they would remove my number from their log. We'll see.

Debt collector trying to get hold of someone I knew in High School. ..34 years ago.

Had my name right,but the address in another state,that I have never been or lived there.Asked me for my ss# and at that point I let them have it and hangup....lol 1-800-441-2982

I do not know who these people are, but are very rude and demanding, my husband is almost 90 years old , they call s several times a day.

This people called and insist to talk to someone about pesonal business, I told them wrong number, but this people are so stubborn and keep on calling twice or three times a day every day.

Got a call, did not answer, Looked up # and Boo Ya !!!!!!!!!!!!!  Scammers.

It makes no difference if you're on the DNC list or not. It appears the gubmint doesn't care either.

I am so tired of being called for people who don't even live here. They have called for my ex sister-in-law and her granddaughter whom I haven' seen since her husband passed away over 2 years ago. They call me telling me I owe on a credit card. I haven't had a credit card for years. What can I do to make them stop calling. The last time they called me they gave me an amount to pay and when I said I couldn't because I'm on SS, they told me to not pay one of my other bills and pay them as I have been paying them regularly. I hung up on him.

I just got a call from this number trying to get my current information for a VISA account that was charged off 13 years ago. They have no legal rights to attempt to collect a debt that has past the statue of limitations.  If you are not sure what is going on and they are being really pushy... research. these people are debt collectors working from some chaotic phone operator's office in India.  they speak horrible english and they are very rude.  If you have a debt ask them to give you  the lowest deal possible or else you wont make a payment.  They are trained to give NO info about themselves, and they are trained to harass until they receive money. the calls wont stop unless you tell them that the person has  moved or passed.  Get their name and badge # if you can.  Don't let them harass you and ask to speak to a supervisor that speaks English.!
these people are from a debt collecting agency who takes old debts from small bank creditors ( i.e. Tribute, Money bank card, unpopular credit cards..)

It started about a week ago, the 800-441-2982 number, and they wake me up too every morning around the same time, 8:23-8:25am.... they call about 3-4X per day.  They are calling my pre-pay cell phone!  I do not answer it, but I am sick of being constantly disturbed in the mornings by them.
Can someone send some thugs to India and take care of these assclowns?

I have been getting calls from this number, (800) 441-2982, sometimes twice a day. The calls started coming less than 24 hours after I got a new number two weeks ago. I don't answer it because i've read reports that some people have been charged upwards of 20.00 just for answering. I think this number originates in India, judging from the names people have reported associated with this number. I think phone companies should be held liable for these phone calls. I'm sick of seeing this number on my call list, and sick of being woken up by the callers. B*****ds.

This number calls me 5 times a day..Its usually what wakes me up each morning. I answer and there is nobody there, although ONE time they asked for Frank and Angela Jankowski...I told them they had the wrong number and they started asking me if I knew them and where they went...um never heard of them in my life thank you very much...BUT THEY STILL KEEP CALLING

Call me at least three times a day.   I ask who they are with and what they are calling about and they won't give me any of their details unless I give them information to verify my name.

My family have been harassed for several months with this number we've been threatened, and sworn at.
Unacceptable.
