I just called that cruise line to see what is was about everything sounded good until they asked about a crdit card number and suggested i should go buy a prepaid card i made up all excuses so i wouldnt have to pay like i use only cash and i cant go and get a prepaid card because i have no time i have to be at work. the man got mad and asked if he can call back i said no he took the little offer back. I just love it when they dont want to wait on the money or hear anything bout you dont have it. I knew it wasnt thew real cruise line person because months ago I requested information about the bahamas for 2015 i got it and that was the last i heard for him cause i told him that i will keep in touch with the arrangements if i decided to go. Definitely a scam!  Stop payment on your credit card stat!

I called them anyway after reading all this to see how they tried to sell it.  Let me save you all some time:

1. Call

2. roughly 10 min. while they explain why this is so good.  they also tell you about like 3-4 "Addon" vacations.  All free of course (lol).  

3. They put you on hold twice saying they are verifying your boarding pass etc.  (I think they use this time to find out more about idiot that just called in.  

4.  They get done with their speech.

5.  Then they start trying to collect $798 bucks to "guarantee" the "addon" vacations.  My "special" "addons" was Mexico, Florida, Vegas, etc...

6.  you tell them you cannot or willnot pay the 798 now they put you on hold and a NEW guy picks up (Jay) and tells you to pay the 198 for the 2 night cruise.... Supposedly that is all you have to pay...  I hung up at this point...

there is also another number beng attached to this company that states and i quote " IF BUSY PLEASE CALL !18004454657" I have done research myself and also found this number to belong to other businesses that were found to be fraudulant. anyone looking for a free get away should try to get out more often nothing is free anymore nor are there going to be any free cruise give aways.

Hello it is a real cruise and Yes the cruise is not free. You have to pay sale taxes on every thing. We went through so many security checks. We got the whole package. The rental car,three nights in Orlando, hotel stay, and the tickets to the themes parks(timeshare to get these). Guess what ? We had to pay all the sale taxes and that got very expensive. We also had to buy plane tickets. One thing that was free was the food!!  Oh yeah there are many other hidden cost like tips ,fuel, registration to get on the ship and gratuity for the workers on the ship. They must have a valid credit card before you can board the ship. They will charge this to your credit card. They had valets for your rent car while you was gone on the cruise. The ship have good entertainment and good food. There was a lot of people on this ship. The things that I hated was the unknown cost and the moving from one hotel tell to another.  The hotel stay was in the Ramada . Yes, it was different they had a big restaurant place where they feed you three times a day ,as much as you wanted eat. The theme parks was the the best part of the trip.

This is a an example of a financial white collar crime in the black in white. Too many individuals in our society do not realize what a financial crime is, fall victim, and never report it.

I received one my self and I think you should contact the better business bureau and give them the full details of this and contact someone in your area that handles scams at your police department.

They sent me a thingy in the mail, notice how there is no way to opt out or an email.   If they send you something in the mail DO NOT call the number, that's one of the things they want.  They will take your number and sell it, also they will call you.  I checked with the police it is in fact a scam going around.  They are "Caribbean Cruise Line" and they will scam the hell out of you.

Yea they sent me something in the mail too, the guy was very rude and told me the 2 day cruise was free but the air fair from mu state was not and wasent included. And I was suppose to have 18 months to decide weather I wanted to take the deal but he tried to tell me to sucure the package I would have to pay 50 dollars to do that. The extended package acutally sounded like a good deal but if if wouldn't have been so rude I might have gone for it. Stupid A** people. Why would you work for someone like that. They are scammers and really bad at it. So basicly you have to do the extended package because if you don't you would have to pay what almost 1000 dollars on air flights alone for 2 days wtf. The extended package covers air fair but you have to put 400 dollars down for that. Don't these people understand that if you did actually do something nice for someone else you would receive more customers. Wow! Don't do it its just people trying to get money ain't s**t for free in this world!

I got a letter from them today.  The first thing i did was a Google search.  I found this site and knew it was a scam.  I called them anyways just to see what it was about.  The lady i talked to was nice and friendly, but at one point she informed me that this was her first day working there and was 6 months pregnant.  later in the conversation she said that this offer was specific for my demographic.  She offered to up grade me to a longer cruise but i declined because i could not get that much time away from work.  She then asked me if i ran my own business.  i said not i work for papa johns as a driver.  she was quiet surprised at that.  I'm 21, and i just graduated a few months ago from massage school with extra prenatal massage  training.  That's probably why she was six months pregnant and her first day, so i would be more willing to buy from them.  She then told me i didn't have to make any commitments today that i had 18 months to decide and that i just had to give them email to hold my place.  she said she needed to put me on hold for a minute and she would  give me all the details and let me ask all the questions i wanted.  after being on hold for a minute or so another woman answered the phone and wanted to know the expiration date.  i asked what expiration date and she said the one on my credit card.  i said that the lady said i didn't need to make any commitment yet and she was going to let me ask questions and give me more details.  this new lady said she needed my credit card to charge the port taxes of $198 before we continued.  I said i didn't have that much money in my accounts but i could my Tuesday.  She then said i had to pay right then or not get the cruise.  I told her that this seems like a Fing scam and hung up.  What surprised me was how much they knew about me but didn't seem to know i was only 21 and delivering pizzas.

Yes Joe BBB isnt a god and people arent looking to see if the company is accredited by BBB they are looking to see how many people have complained about the company and see what the company is doing wrong or good and I got to say you might want to shut your mouth about BBB before you speak again because 680 complaints in the last year for this company says other wise joe so go sit in the corner and rethink your life before you say something else to make you sound less intelligent.

the world needs more ppl like you all! i got one of these in the mail and i typed the # into the google search box and this came up. After reading a few post (while still on the phone with the company) i hung up. thank you everyone for the information i hope no one gets hit by this scam.

My wife just got the voucher for 1300 so I Googled the 800 number to see if it's legit. Last year I was at the MN Sportsman's Show and signed up for a Four Wheeler Drawing and they called claiming that I won a vacation. I told them all I signed up for was a Four Wheeler.... So what I want to know is who gave them/sold them my personal information? Keep track of where you give out your personal info! I'm leary to sign up for ANY raffle now.

Absolutely ridiculous, these guys have no respect, I told this guy I was in the military and he said, "oh well we have special offers for military member and college students". Luckily before I gave any information, I googled the number and found this page. Thank goodness. No respect for the military, what soulless people.

I can't beleive after two years this thing is still going on. Look at the start date of this thread and then mine. Why has no one taken care of this? I recently just moved and have been flying a lot lately so they probably got it from Orbitz or the post office but I got a little excited as well. Boo!

Did anyone reported this to any federal agency ?

I was told that I won a two night, three day cruise, through the Durham Fair in Durham Ct, this past Sept., I tried to register, online, and was unsuccessful in doing so, and so I decided to send in my registration form by mail., except the mail was returned to me.  I wrote the whole thing off as a scam at this point, until I started getting phone calls ( in excess of 35-40 total ) within a two week period, often leaving automated messages from the above number.  When I did finally call the number back, I was told that unless I provided the rep, whose name was Michael with my credit card info, that they couldn't possibly hold the reservation for me, due to the fact that so many other people would love to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity, etc.  I did not provide them with any requested credit card info.
