We are SUPPOSED to be on an unlisted number and not supposed to receive ANY soliciting.

1-800-445-5666 called me 3 times. Nex Construction was the company name and they said that they wanted to build me a website. I told them each time that I wanted to be removed from their list.

I got a call and he asked to speak to me. He sounded like he was from India.
When I confirmed he was talking to me, he hung up.
When I called back I got the a message saying that number was unavailable to my calling area.

Called me on my cell.  Not sure about the accent, and the connection is not a clear one.
Verified my name and hang up.
Got a bad feeling about this...

Guy with Indian accent called from 800-445-5666, verified my name which he already had and hung up.

some indian guy (voice) called me from this number. Surprisingly he knows my name. the call was very unstable, unclear and discontinued soon.

someone called my office from this number and told me he wanted to f*ck me, then proceeded to call me every nasty female word he could think of! Funny yet strange!

Call from 80-445-5666 some guy from India telling me he was with Bellsouth and wanted to give me a $10 discount on my phone bill for using a faster speed on my Bellsouth/ATT DSL line.

Gah...these people annoy me to death. I get a call from them at least 3x per week, trying to sell us AT&T services (we already use AT&T, but they purchase blocks of service and act as a middle-man, claiming to give lower rates which does not end up being the case).

Every time, it ends the same: me repeating "remove us from your to-call list. We are not interested. Do not call us again. Remove us from your to-call list" over and over. It never stops them from calling back a day or so later, and the 'new' caller always says "but this is the first time I'M calling you", as though that matters.
I've reported them for violating the DNC Registry, and will continue to do so every time they call.

When I refused to give this person any information, he asked me if I was a prostitute!

A guy called me from 800-445-5666 and after I answered, he hanged up on me. How do they get info and then call?

Guy from India called my dental office saying it was a emergency call to our doc, i told him he was not aval,said he'd call back later. called back the number 800-445-5666 and it gives you a 800 chat line number to call!

Received call from 1-800-445-5666 saying they will discount $5.00 off from my internet service and I tried to call ATT to verify but ATT confirmed me they never offer any discount by calling.
Again I received call from 1-800-445-5666, I told her I am not interested and she start act like crazy, saying "get lost" and harassing me with bad words.
I can not belive this guy! Be Aware!

Man these guys are a***oles.  Someone in our office managed to piss somebody off over there last week and for a good 1hr 30min some prick at that number kept calling our office.  He cursed and said he had the ability to dial 5 numbers at once and would keep doing so until 5pm because "he had nothing better to do".  We had an Indian co-worker talk to him in Punjabi and he still did not stop.  He said he was the supervisor and was not afraid of the cops.  We eventually got it to stop because the dumb a** did not know he was calling a virtual number.  A virtual number which I was able to block his number (or whatever call center it was being routed through).  We tried calling 800-445-5666 but it would never connect; he was slick too because there were at least another different 4-5 numbers that would show up instead of the 800-445-5666 number.  I'm not going to give away what virtual number service we are using but man do I love their "Block Number List" feature.

Received 2 calls today from this number - I have received calls from them in the past. They sound like they are from India. They ask for names & I keep telling them that my directory is down (which it's not) and that I can't look up names. The man calling today said "your directory is always down, everyday " - very nasty - I was just as nasty & told him "that's right" - he then told me to go F*** myself. I told him I was going to have the call traced & call the police. Second caller (different man) asked for a name & I told him I was going to call Dept. of Immigration. Maybe that will scare them.

After the caller with foreign accent verified my name, he hung up.  I checked with my local phone company. They said he can't slam our phone/internet service.

These guys have been calling our business for the past two weeks several times a day.  They always ask for employees that haven't worked here for at least a year and a half.  And the calls always sound like they're coming from a tin can.  It's driving us nuts.

Caller asked for Carol Stream  in a thick difficult to understand accent.  When told there was no Carol Stream at this phone number he hung up.  You could hear the call center in the back.

Called the office.  It was obviously a foreign call center since I could hear conversations in the background.  They asked for me by name then hung up.

They just did it to me also... hung up after I said it was me.

Received a phone call from this number this morning.  Had a middle eastern accent, like many of you mention.  He requested someone to which I responded he wasn't listed in the company directory.  I waited for an answer then looked at my screen.  He hung up on me mid-sentence.  I hate that!  I've received a few other calls very similar to this one in the past, but I don't recall if they came from the same number.  Thanks to maximom for the info.

The caller claims to be AT&T or calling on behalf of AT&T but is not.  Caller ID shows 800-445-5666.  You can report telemarketing abuse to the FTC - www.ftc.gov or 1-877-382-4357.  The FTC won't do anything about a single call but if everyone receiving these calls reports them, the aggregate information will be substantial enough for the FTC to take action.

This same number called a few times. First it was a woman asking for the business owner, I told her that he wasnt available and she hung up. Called back a few more times, same thing. Then a man called, got rude with me, I hung up on  him. He has since called over and over and over again, cussing, being rude, threatening us, and there isnt anything we can do. We pay ATT over 4k every month in combined advertising, phone and internet services. This is BS.

I M Gonna Cancel AT&T now

I got a call from Sean Spencer from the same number and same Indian accent mentioned above, he told me that he is calling from AT&T but i was sure he wasn't... but he give me a good DSL plan 6MB fast access DSL just in $ 69.95, so i Agreed because he seems to be a nice man....  but when the bill come DSL charge was around $ 150 i am very disappointed with AT&T......... I am gonna cancel all my services with AT&T and I m gonna switch to Preferred Local and Long Distance because they have cheaper plans and I recommend you guys to move on and Leave AT&T

Some One called me from this 800 number and verified my first and last name? when I asked him that from where is he calling he told me :
     "WHEN I ASKED YOU, YOU TOLD ME FOUR YEARS & NOW I?M TAKING TO YOU SO YOU TOLD ME TWO YEARS? WHAT IS THIS ???" and then he Hung up

I got a call from Peter Anderson, He asked to speak to me. He sounded like he was from India.
When I confirmed he was talking to me, he told me F*** OFF& hung up.
When I called back I got the talkline like above.
