They are still going at it. They almost got my assistant manager to sign the form and fax it back for the "old price" that they forgot to tell us about. They are now calling themselves CENTER SUPPLY CO. and the bottom fo the fax is IDCSERVCO. Fortunately, I was well aware that the vendor that I have a contract with supplies my toner.

STAY AWAY!!!!

This company is a front company for the fraud they commit on the back end.  They will try and get you to verify the printer model and have a low level clerk or cashier sign off on the invoice.

I like to string them along and pretend like you are going to order like 10 toners, pretend that it is a really good deal, then when they least expect it bang the phone really hard on the desk a few times lol..  Gets them every time.

The actual company making the calls and committing the fraud is called capital supply center. 866-444-3437 fax is 877-544-4002  Sign up their fax number to as many marketing companies as you can :)  34145 Pacific Coast Hwy. #414 Dana Point, CA 92629

Got the call yesterday.  Sounded fishy so I forwarded the fax to our account manger at Xerox and he confirmed the scam.  Now all I need to do is figure out a fun way to f*** with Dave from Capital Supply Center.  The opportunities are endless...

....I also spoke with Lynn from Capital Supply Company who said I should follow Andrew's instructions. I had also mentioned to her to make sure we are removed from their list of callings, her response to that was "we will never call you again."  Hmm...just a little fishy, huh??!!!!!!!!

Same thing happended to me as with some of the above posts...I got a call from someone who stated they were with the supplier we use saying the price of toner went up ? but because they ?forgot? to tell us, they?re going to send us one at the ?old? price, as a courtesy. I fell for it, since I had just placed an order with our supplier and figured they had noticed their "mistake". Then we get invoiced for an excessive amount than it should have been and the shipping alone being $60! I just got off the phone with "Andrew" from IDCSERVCO and supposedly I will receive an email with a UPS return label within 24-48 hours to return this overpriced toner cartridge.  I had mentioned to him about all these other scam reports and he stated that it is not their company, "they are just the supplier and that the scammers were the actual company that contacted us" (those were his exact words). I will make sure NEVER to verbally ok something like this over the phone again!

Yes they are a scam and unfortunately I fell for their clever tactics.  I'm trying to resolve this issue right now.  Hopefully they will be get scared when I let them know I'm with a federal agency that will pursue this matter through the attorney general for my district as well as theirs.  It's really sad that we have companies like this and the people that work for them committing fraud every day of the year.  If this were to happen to these people that work for companies like this I wonder how they would feel.

Try this...the next time they call and ask what your copier model number is...say oh, okay...

it is and spell out C-O-P-Y-M-A-C-H-I-N-E see how fast they realize it.  hahaha

We tried this a long time ago..it was so funny.

Recently when we told them they'd have to speak to the supply manager they kept calling back and calling us names... bi!@c% etc...

I got a call using the same we forgot to call you about the price increase jargon. We had just ordered toner from Xerox so I assumed that was why they were calling. They represented themselves to me as being from Xerox. I refused the first 4 times they called because the price sounded off and I wanted to talk to my GM first. My accountant told me we were expecting toner from XEROX themselves so on the fifth call I fell for it. I called Xerox to cancel the order and they had no idea what I was talking about because we have that in our contract. I got the toner Monday and called IDSERVCO from the label on the box ( I never opened the box) the lady couldn't even tell me who sold it to me just that it wasn't them they were just the supplier. I demanded a return label because at this point I'm already working with the head of security at Xerox. She issued a UPS return pickup but I felt so ripped off I filed a BBB complaint. I just got off the phone with someone claiming to be a manager who said the company who sold me the toner was Supply Fulfillment Center. I told him the same thing that I was working with Xerox security and by god if I had any other issues with them I would turn it all over to Xerox and he said they stopped the billing and told me he was going to have someone from Supply Fulfillment Center contact me in regards to my issue. So far I hope this resolves it, if not I'm ready and geared up for a fight! I told him that if he was going to say he didn't have anything to do with this he needs to stop doing business with these companies otherwise I am lumping him in with the rest and holding him and his company responsible. He made a comment about feeling sad I felt I had to take this route. I agreed because I should not have to chase people down and threaten them so they won't scam me! I'll see how this goes but hopefully since I have help at Xerox I won't have the nightmare some of the other people had.

They called, and said they were calling from our usual supplier. Said the price of toner went up ? but because they ?forgot? to tell us, they?re going to send us a case at the ?old? price, as a courtesy. I fell for it. Then we get billed for like, 10x the amount it would normally cost. Then they call again ? that was only a ?partial? order, there was a ?mix up? in shipping, and they?ll send the rest of it right out. And we get billed again! This time, I argue. I cancel. They say if I cancel, they?ll back-bill it to the ?new? price, which is even more than they?ve already charged us! I ask them, ?this is the last of it, right?? ? they say ?Yes.? Then they call again! Trying the same thing again! I tell them, no ? I canceled it. The last delivery was supposed to be the last. No, they tell me ? it wasn?t. Now accounting gets involved. She talks to them. They tell her this is the last of it, it?s canceled after THIS shipment. The calls stop for a while. Then they call again yesterday, trying the whole damn thing AGAIN. Now the Vice President gets on the phone with them, because when I argue the guy gets rude and won?t even let me talk. She gives him what-for. She tells them she wants their address so she can send a written, certified letter of the cancelation, and no more calls. He won?t even give her their address! Finally, they cancel the whole thing, after she goes online and gets a phone number, and speaks to someone else. Since then, we?ve both been doing a little poking around online, and this company has an ?F? rating with the Better Business Bureau, and over 599 complaints filed! There?s all kinds of things posted on the ?Rip-Off? websites, all the same story. AND ? get this ? the ?Account Services Manager? is REPLYING to some of the posts ? with the same BS they spout on the phone! I can?t believe this company is still working.

I am currently still having the same problem that dates back to 2008. They say they have one more shippment that needs to be sent out from our original order of 4. We paid for the 3 previous shipments before we realized it was all a scam. And now I am not sure how to get them to stop harassing us. A letter has been sent out to cancel our "account" and any further shipments, but of course this has not stopped them from trying again and again.

They did the same thing to our company.  Shipped us a toner cartridge for $439 that we did not order.  These same cartridges cost $35 elsewhere.

Scam. Got one of my customers and they called saying they were from our business, but they aren't. My customer received the toner and they received the bill a few days later and it was way overpriced. The customer then called our office asking why we are charging them for toner now (they are on contract with us for toner) because they are calling them saying they have an outstanding order. We call this kind of organization Toner Pirates.

I received that phone call. And being to busy to recognize that this was a scam to get me to pay for some toner included in my service contract. Now I don't recall all the details a few weeks later. I just remember that I was told that the price on my toner was going up and if I ordered something now they would be able to honor the lower price for a year.

They are doing this with our company and the laws state that you do not have to pay the invoice and consider the merchandise as a gift.  When they call, and get irrate, just thank them for the gift and move one.  We have actually created a fake employee within our company and when they call looking for her, we say she won't be in until tomorrow.  The game keeps going and going but they will soon give up.

SCAM!

Wordy has it right on the nose.  I made a mistake of signing that fax thinking it was my supplier.  After receiving a bill for a large amount and thorough research on the internet about this scam, I decided to file complaints with the BBB, FCC, FTC and CA Attorney General (you better believe I went through all that!). I later received an angry call from the "manager" of the warehouse it was shipping out of (Corporate Supply Center).  When I tried to speak to someone at IDC Servco, "Alicia Maldonado" made it seem as if it were my fault and wouldn't even attempt to help me to figure out what was going on, so I automatically assumed that the two were connected (or the same....who knows, right?)

Just be firm and file your complaints with all of the above.  If you didn't use the toner at all, send it back (make sure you can get a signature at delivery) and most likely you won't have to pay for a thing.

This company, IDC Servco, is doing an Office Supplies Scam.  They have numerous complaints with the BBB. They have a BBB rating of "F".

IDC Servco has a website at http://idcservco.com/index.php

IDC Servco is the back office fulfillment operation for numerous telemarketing "sales companies". IMHO, they have separated their back end business from the sellers in order to isolate themselves from the illegal stuff the telemarketers do.  In my opinion, they are complicit in the telemarketing fraud.  We have been contacted by multiple companies.

They are a registered telemarketer in CA but their website denies that they sell. They claim they do not telemarket but only supply the products sold by external sales companies.

The telemarketing companies they use may include "Supply Processing Center", "Advance Data", and "Capital Express Corporation".  Capital Express uses a phony business address.

There are multiple websites where people have identified them as running a scam. I personally have filed complaints at the BBB, FCC, FTC, and CA Attorney General.  Contact the manufacturer of the product they are scamming and complain.  I believe that the manufacturers would not want to be associated with them.

You will get a call from some person pretending to be your "Regular Supplier".  Our receptionist was told that they were late with our order but they would ship the order as soon as possible.  They offered her a $100 gift certificate as an apology.

They then ship you product.  When the product arrived, there was a photocopy of a gift card with instructions on how to get it.  Don't do the instructions.

A few weeks later you get an invoice for the product at 3 to 10 times the usual market price for the product.

Some people have reported receiving an order confirmation by FAX.  They request a signature.  Don't return or sign this!

We have been contacted by multiple telemarketing companies all pretending to be our "Regular Supplier".  I suspect IDC Servco is behind them all.  They probably share successfully scammed company data with multiple "Sales Companies"

Per the FTC - When you receive a product you did not order, you do not have to pay for it and you do not have to return it.  This company will attempt to renegotiate the price, threaten you with legal action or a collection agency, claim they have a recording of phone conversation (utter nonsense - they don't record themselves committing fraud), they eventually offer for you to return the product at your own expense and pay a restocking fee.

Don't return the product or pay for it; send them a letter thanking them for the free product. Contact the FCC, FTC, CA Attorney General and the BBB and file complaints.  The LA BBB url is http://www.la.bbb.org/Home.aspx.  You can also report them at the NCL's Fraud Center http://www.fraud.org/info/contactnfic.htm

It's a total scam.  Don't give anyone any information about your copier, toner, etc.  This garbage has been going on since before the Internet Age..
