Caller doesnot respond after their call is answered.

When you get a call, and can barely understand that person, you have a LEGAL right to request[politely], to speak with someone in the USA. Most of these operators are located outside the US. Just ask to speak with a US representative and they Legally must transfer you. Hope this helps. This is true of any call you receive. Good luck and God Bless.

Got a call with an automated system on the other end asking for my social security number and mortgage account number.  I refused and the system hung up on me.  I called back and spent the last 10 minutes on the phone waiting to speak with a person.  Finally, I got a person on the line that barely spoke english (big surprise there).  The woman insisted that I need to give her my SSN and personal info for the call to proceed.  I refused and eventually got a "supervisor" who stated they are PHH Mortgage Services.  I don't have any dealings with PHH.  This is obviously a scam call and you should block the number.  Don't fall for this BS!  Anyone who automatically goes for your SSN without properly identifying themselves first is a scam.  

Another call today - even slamming the phone doesn't give up

I called the number back and they do not identify themselves but want my "loan" number and my social security number??

Sick of these phony calls and ignorant people that do not understand DO NOT CALL

Another person who doesn't understand DO NOT CALL LIST and calls at 8:37 AM and doesn't even leave a message - probably another phony  or telemarketer call

It's PHH supposedly.
