Call referencing our current newspaper subscription

Retrived message only heard heavy breathing and clicking sounds. My number is on the national do not call list also.

I get calls from morning til night. When I dial that number, it says, PRESS 1,and I do...Then it says checking on my a/c with newspaper...I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST! IF THIS KEEPS HAPPENING WILL REPORT THIS TO THE NATIONAL REGISTRY-U S A....

Yes, why am I getting this call when I'm on the DNC List?   I've seen this number on my Caller ID many times in the past as well...

Caller ID says Out of Area - get call many times per week and there is no answer when answering machine collects message.

What business has this number?

I keep getting daily calls from 800-461-2846. No one ever answers when I answer. This morning it sounded like a big party in the background. Let's find out who this is and shut them down.

This number calls several times a day to my phone. I don't know who it is as number is unprovided. I no longer ans this kind of calls and i wish they would stop calling.

This number calls us almost every day.... something about the Tribune.  How do we make it stop?

Actually they do NOT have the right to call me as I do NOT subscribe to their paper.  They leave a phone number to call back 941-627-7550 if I have questions, which is a none working number.  I have reported to the DNC register.

These idiots called me twice today and said nothing at all. I don't care who they are. They are permanently blocked. Learn to block callers on your phone to get rid of these jerks.

get calls from this # quite a few times a day. never leaves a message. only time i've answered, was a recording saying that it was car insurance company stating that a DL needed to be updated.

Calls from 800-461-2846 or from Simi Valley Ca all the info I have for now

Same as above reports - breathing and hangup on answer machine - redial to that number results in info re local newspaper - when "1" pressed, disconnect.

There have been several calls in the past week.  When I did get curious and called, I got the same message that it was my local paper.  Since I have a subscription, I called them directly and they had no idea what I was talking about.  It seems creepy to me simply because there seems to be no reason for it, or at least one that I can imagine.  Has anyone else found out any more about them?

They call, but do not answer when we pick-up...there is only silence.  After saying several times "hello" and did not get a response, I hung up.

Have no idea who this is...we do not have any outstanding debt.

your newspaper subscription is about to run out and they want to offer you a promo rate to stay on... not rocket science. just answer the phone and ask who it is! they have the right to call you, whether you are on the do not call list or not, as you are already a customer of theirs.

Everynight around 7 pm someone from 1-800-461-2846 calls. Usually I don't answer and they leave weird breathing noises etc. on my answering machine. Tonight I answered and nobody was there so I hung up.

Yes received a call today for the first time and they hung up when answering machine came on. I will pick it up the next time. They are cowards to call and not talk.

I received a voice mail from this number tonight.  The person on the other side of the phone left heavy breathing sounds then hung up.

I got a call from this # while we were at dinner.  They did not leave a message but registered on my caller-ID.  Who are they??

got 4 calls from this no.  they never leave a message but always let it ring until the leave a message comes on.
