I got the same call telling me that I was downloading malicious software and he was from windows tech support. Asked if I did any online banking, purchases. I could barely understand him. Somebody needs to investigate him and put a stop to it.

Got a new phone number about a month ago, and the number of calls I have received because of the previous owner and their perhaps bad/perhaps uninformed choices is astounding. Scam calls have abounded, the number of calls received about new payday loans, time to pick up medications...it is beyond insane. I understand that some of this is to be expected for a period of time, but the fact this number called me so long after the fact is frustrating. I'm on the Do Not Call Registry (I know that doesn't necessarily do a whole lot, but I sure can report them!), and have been since I got the number. Since we're just past the 31-day window of when the Registry would take affect, I'm reporting this number based on all of the above! So thank you all for reporting - it helps to minimize being subjected to all of these scams.

They probably use lego men.

My Magnavox Video Writer is probably around here somewhere. Maybe I'll let them give it a whirl.
The-Truth 2014-03-25 04:09:49 Unknown
They obviously didn't fix your Hindi to English translation program. Your illiteracy reeks of stupid lying shill.
Fu2 2014-03-25 03:27:36 Unknown
Yeah, and how good are they at servicing a Timex Sinclair 1000?
Quark 2014-03-25 02:02:34 Unknown
Do you think they could fix the computer on Deep Space 9?
MidNYteStorm 2014-03-25 02:00:42 Unknown
That must include since you are here.
araT 2014-03-25 01:51:15 Unknown
What is their address?
You should be investigated too.
MidNYteStorm 2014-03-25 01:49:55 Unknown
Do you think they can repair a Commodore PET?
araT 2014-03-25 01:48:53 Unknown
Yawn - same old krap.
ara 2014-03-25 01:48:14 Unknown
The issue is you are a liar.
araT 2014-03-25 01:47:36 Unknown
And you are too stupid to write a sentence.

Jo-Jo and Octo! Google Tech Support scams and comp-secure is at the head of the List. Can you "its" come up with some better names?
Tamianth 2014-03-25 01:16:52 Unknown
Another obvious shill.. did you think registering would somehow save you? It doesn't, reported for shilling.
Tamianth 2014-03-25 01:11:17 Unknown
Nope, not buying this, anyone can post under someone else ID used and yours a obvious attempt at trying to change someone's complaint to make the scam look valid. Obvious shill is obvious.

That's nothing. I got a call from Vet Secure yesterday and spoke to a Dr. Iriguti M. Mazeltov. He actually went through everything remotely and took all the time it took to help me fix my cat. I would use his services again if I ever need to have my cat fixed again.
Thank You,
Dr. Iriguti M. Mazeltov.

Congratulations to your computer for joining the bot army while sending all the crap on it to criminals.
But you already know that don't you? Stupid shill.

Today I had serious problems with my computer and was concerned that I may have to buy another one. I called Alex at comp-secure and had a delightful surprise. He took the time to go through my computer and fix whatever was wrong with it. I have confidence in his work and he was very knowledgeable in his work. If I ever need help in the future I will call again and I thank you.
Thank You
Alex Cruz (comp-secure)

Received a call from unknown number telling me my microsoft software was not updating properly. I asked why he was calling me and how he got my contact information. I asked for the name of his company and call back number. He said the company name was Comp Secure and the number was 347-535-4547. The person made it sound like my computer need help urgently and Microsoft had him contact me. I could see someone falling for this scam.

After reading my previous post of 10/08, "Teddy" called from Comp-Secure begging to load Security Software in 30 to 45 mins. and stating they were being investigated, and stating a full refund to my credit card has been issued, and offered 1 yr free tech support. He asked me to change my comments on this post; which I am now doing. I allowed him to load it. (It took 3 hrs., not 45 mins.) It seems to be working in a satisfactory manor so far. I checked, and the full refund was credited to my credit card account on 10/11. I do not know whether they will honor their verbal promise of 1yr of free tech support or not. That remains to be seen. The other FRAUDULENT charges on my credit are still being investigated and I still do not have a credit card. In my previous post I did not know that my email had also been hacked and that my friends were receiving email from my address which I did not send. They are now understandably afraid to open ANY email from my address, and I am unable to contact them in this manner. --One more thing: I find it most peculiar that all of the employees have a thick accent (perhaps Indian) which is difficult to understand, yet they give their names as "Alex, Ozzie, Michael, Jimmy, Teddy".-- seems ficticious to me. ---------- After much demanding, I did finally receive a full refund. My dealings with this company has brought many hassles, headaches, and unneccesery stress.

SCAM!! FRAUD !! Don't fall for it as I did. Person called and said his name was Michael from Comp-Secure and that he noted my computer showed many errors and was running very slowly. He offered to fix all problems immediately and offered on-line tech support for $159.99 for 1 yr. I agreed and gave my VISA number to him. BIG mistake! The next day my computer was messing up as never before. I called back and asked for a full refund. They said they were having trouble installing the software and would call back in a few minutes. No call back. I called back the next day and demanded an immediate refund. After much demanding, they said they would issue full refund on my VISA within 3 to 5 working days. (The 5 days will be "up"" on 10/11/13) I then called my VISA card company & told them the details & that I would not honor the $159.99 scam charges. ALSO there were several FRAUDULANT charges to my VISA account which are not disputed. I had to cancel my Visa account to prevent further charges which I did not authorize. What a mess!

Plus, you don't have to give any so-called "registration" number to people - once you ask them to stop calling, they should abide by your wishes.

He said he was from Home Secure, my computer was not updating properly, and he could help fix that. I asked for his name (Sam), and told him my computer was fine it was none of his business. Told him I was on the no-call list, he asked for my no-call registration number. I repeatedly told him not to call back and hung up.
