This is the American Heart Association.  I do this every year just as June described!  My husband and several close friends had heart attacks and this is a fund raising campaign!  If you do not wish to do it, don't agree to do it as it not only doesn't help. it actually hurts people who have heart conditions.

It was supposed to be a call from American Heart Association wanting to use me as a helpful neighbor to get my neighbors to make a contribution. I am on the national do not call, but they caught me at a weak moment & I agreed. I received a package from them today, even tho it has the right logo something just did not hit me right so I went to the internet. Looks as tho I am glad I did. This is the Dear Neighbor campaign. They also give another # 1-800-242-8721. I am supposed to stuff envelopes that they supplied, with literature they supplied, use my own stamps to mail the request for money to my neighbor's as ask them to return them to me & that I would mail the contribution's back to the Association.  I did not have Caller ID at the time, now I do.
