Keeps calling, very annoying, auto announcement with male voice say it's NCO Financial and it's regarding a personal financial matter
Repeated # to call back and Reference # but no name etc.
Don't know who these people are but they obviously have the wrong #

I am having the same problem with them, shifty company. I would like to report them to the Better Business Bureau but I don't have their contact info.

I am also having the same problem, I keep calling them back but all I hear is a recording and I will stay on the phone for 20 min to 40 min then I give up.
I have no idea who they are.

Yea this number has called me like for months i finally had the chance to call them. They said it was very confidential when they gave me the name I said they didnt live here so they finally backed off hopefuly

This number is a waste of time, I am trying to run a business and I stay on the phone for 20 to 40 min just waiting for someone to pick up......no one picks up.  I have no idea who they are and what they want, it is very annoying.

i JUST RECIVED A CALL FROM NCO...1-800-465-0379...CALLER IDENTIFIED HIMSELF AS BRANDON EXT.8012...HE WAS LOOKING FOR MY FIANCEE AND SAID IT WAS CONFIDENTIAL... WOULD NOT TELL ME WHAT HE WANTED... BUT OF COURSE THE PHONE IS IN MY FIANCEE NAME...I'M A PROFESSIONAL TELEMARKETER (I RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY AND POLITAL PARTY'S)AND IF ASKED BY WHOEVER I CONTACT I WILL TELL THEM THE PURPOSE OF MY CALL IS... BUT DUDE GAVE ME NO ANSWER JUST THAT IT WAS CONFIDENTAL...NOT SURE COULD BE A SCAM

ONE OF AMERICA'S WORST COLLECTION AGENCIES!

While NCO Financial has earned what seems to be a permanent slot in our exclusive list of America's Worst Collection Agencies, it's really difficult to classify them when held up to others in the industry.

On one hand, NCO aggressively peruses and takes over other collectors in a bid to be the world's largest.

Meanwhile, corporate collection policy seems to sway daily, depending upon the wind.  One call might bring threats to our active duty military personnel and their families, on a level reserved for terrorists.  The next call will be gentlemanly, helpful and not-at-all like the NCO of old.  You never know which one you'll get.

On some occasions, NCO takes the debtor into court, scratching and fighting for pennies and spending thousands to get it.  On others, they fold like a paper tiger at the hint of consumer counter activity.  

Perhaps the giant is learning from the mistakes of the past.  Perhaps the sting of some many fines and penalties caused stockholders to crack the whip.  We do know that two years ago, our email box and phone were overflowing with NCO complaints.  At that time, every other complaint was about NCO.  Now they just trickle in.

What's lacking in this big agency is a resolution department.  If they had a team of 3 people to handle consumer complaints, put out public relations fires and resolve problems - someone with the authority to make decisions - they'd not only disappear from our list of America's worst, they'd do themselves much good.

I also am a victim of these pestering idiots.  They have some sort of auto dialer that calls - unknown number to boot - then someone with an IQ of 2 asks for someone who is unknown and refuses to take no for an answer.  They must be despairing to make a sale.  Must be some sort of a scam... though they won't identify what and for whom they are selling whatever it is that they are trying to sell.

When the number is called, it's identified as "NCO".  They are apparently breaching the Do Not Call regulations but then, I guess, they know that those regulations are toothless.

Regardless, just for the record, I've reported them but I doubt that it will do any good.  The Do Not Call registry and Do Not Call regulations are there to regulate honest telemarketers, not jerks like these people.

They kept calling me too. So I called them back I asked him who they are and he says who are you? You called me. I said I'm just returning his call and asked again about his company. He got my phone number again and gave me a wrong name. when I said it was wrong he disconnected. I called back and asked for a supervisor he hang up again.
They called me at 8:00 pm when I'm trying to put my children to sleep and hang up on me.I don't know how to report them. I don't think his up to any good. Some scamp

same here.... have called me at least 20 times... some sort of sketchy finance company... I don't owe a f****ng dime to anyone... so this is very annoying.

NO IMPLICATION OF WHAT ORG'N IS CALLING, WHO IS BEING CALLED FOR ETC.  THIS CALL WAS MADE TO A PLACE OF BUSINESS AND WAS THE SECOND CALL, THE FIRST BEING ON AN INDEPENDANTLY #'D LINE - SO WHO ARE THEY ARE WHO ARE THEY LOOKING FOR.  IF YOUR LEGIT YOU WON'T COWER TO ANNOUNCE WHO YOU ARE.
