Calls all the time!

People need to understand that the DoNotCall Registry does not apply to debt collectors (or surveys, fundraisers or companies you have done business with in the past.)   It only applies to telemarketers.  Also, complaints to the FTC do nothing,  They only compile complaints.

Automated mesage from Dynamic Recovery Solutions, trying to collect a debt. If you are not **** ***** disconnect now. Which I did because I'm not the "droid lol" person you are looking for.
They also called using wireless numbers with no area code being displayed.
First 406-3635 was an automated message trying to collect a debt, call back at 1-888-355-4335.
Second called from 406-3665, this was a real guy who left a message from Dynamic Recovery Solutions a debt collection agency. Call back number of 1-888-356-8021. I have already told these people they have the wrong number. I've had this "awful" number for like 2 yrs now & all I get are collection calls for the people who had it before me. It's infuriating that there is no way to stop this. Where is the justice for the innocent people who have to deal with this.

I constantly get calls from 800-466-5259 at all different days and times. It is a recorded message saying they are Mercantile Adjustment Bureau a debt collector and this is an attempt to collect a debt. They also say that if you are not that person to disconnect the call. They're leaving a message on an answering machine. Really?????? Anybody around can hear the message. The most harassing people I ever heard.

I changed my number and every day these people call looking for some one that I dont know for 4 months now.

This number called me late last night ( around 1030pm) and left a voicemail saying they were trying to collect a debt from me. I know that I do not have any debt nor do I recognize the company they are trying to get me to pay. Tried calling the number back today (1145am) but nobody was answering. Believe its a scam and do not appreciate someone harassing me over a payment I do not owe. Had me worried at first until I found this site and realized they are doing this to many other innocent people. Disgusting!

At least twice a week I am getting calls on my cell phone from this number for someone named Shannon Vineyard. I am sick to death of these phone calls. I do not even know how they got my cell phone number as my cell phone and home phone numbers are on the DO NOT CALL list.

Stop calling me you people have nothing else to do but bother us stop now your a pain in the a**.

Calls from this number asking for Pinta Bolley.  If you are not Pinta Bolley hang up.  Same message came from a different phone number before.   Very strange.  Calling my phone company to block.

I called and they removed me and I haven't had a calls since.  I wanted to thank you for leaving their information. Very appreciated.

I get 3-4 calls from these idiots every few days. They have a recorded message that if you are not this person to disconnect the call. Seriously????? I don't call back idiotic messages and have no idea who these people are not do I care.

I have been receiving voice messages from this number. The first two sentences of the female's voice recording was strange. I did not listen to the entire message and deleted it right away. It continued to leave similar voice messages almost daily that I added this number to my directory and named it 'SPAMMER.'

These guys kept calling me asking for a Raphael Butler. I called back TWICE and on the 2nd time got an answer. I told the lady they kept calling and she said "Is this the wrong number?" I said yes. She said my number was removed but we'll see

These people have been calling from this number since I moved into the house I rent. At first, I got a letter in the mail for a "Jennifer McIntyre", so I figured this was the person who lived here before me. Then I started getting calls from this and I think another number (which I NEVER answer since I don't like being bothered). The voicemail message is always the same - "By continuing to listen to this message, you acknowledge (or confirm, whichever it is) that you are -pause- robot voice JENNIFER MCINTYRE -pause- blah blah". I get so many calls from different numbers that I have to keep my phone on silent all the time and am planning on changing my number. I'm so sick of this.

Called twice a week for two and a half years now!

This caller is looking for someone who had my phone number over 5 years ago, they will not stop calling, they just use a different extention every day -- this is a very annoying debt collector who when you call them to tell them they have the wrong person, after you go through a ton of computer prompts, they claim their computer is not working so they cannot update the information.

Please stop calling my number. I've told you everytime you have called YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER!!!!

Also, report them to the FCC!!

They called my MONTH OLD CELL PHONE for Colleen Duffy and I gave them attitude.  To bad the b****h hung up before I could finish my removal request though.  They should fear!  I live in Hamburg, NY!  It's only a 20 minute drive to where they are!!

QUIT CALLING MY CELL PHONE!!  You idiots are in for it now! I'm getting a local lawyer who SUES people like you!  Looking forward to my $1500!!

ETA:  Called the jerks back and before I could finish requesting the removal of my cell number, the bi*** hung up on me!  She's looking for a Colleen Duffy!!  I reported to the FCC!!

Who the hell are these people and why did they just call my CELL PHONE!?  Who the f*** is blahblah duffy (I couldn't understand the first name).  I'm going to call them back and give them the bitching of a lifetime, then block them with Call Control!!

ETA:  I just called them back and the "place" is closed?  Seriously?  No problem!  I can contact a local attorney.

they just wont stop harassing me . Its a recorded message and they say if you are not the person then hang up. but they still call but if you wait on the line it is as if you are agreeing to there collection ...

This number belongs to Mercantile Adjustment Bureau and I called them back today and got a person.......i told them they have been calling for months and have been told it's not the business they are looking for so he said he would remove my number today........Let's hope he does, they are annoying and call more tehn once a day..............

They call our house every day!  We have told them that the person who they are trying to contact is not at this number but they won't stop calling.  Very frustrating!

please do NOT call me again from this number... they are trying to supposedly collect a debt from 2003...the woman was quite rude...I told her that I have not lived at that address for a very long time, and when I moved out, all bills were paid in full....so she says she is reporting me...to what?  whatever....and I'm NOT calling National Grid because I don't owe them anything...a total waste of my time...:)

This is apparently, a student load company. So I was told. The f****ng C*** who first answers the call keep interrupting with questions. They call me asking for someone I don't even know nor can I even fully make out what the machine is saying. I tried to help them by letting them know they are calling the wrong number. When the call was transfered to a call center somewhere in india, the burden was put on me to let them know who they are asking for when they call. Some kind of c***sucker outfit, this operation.. I have had my cell phone number for about 7 years and collectors still call for the person that had it before me.  I've been telling them all that he doesn't have this number anymore.  You would think someone would add that to the file so the NEXT collector wouldn't waste time calling.  Also, if I recall correctly, the do not call registry is for telemarketing, not for collectors.  I could be mistaken.
