this 1-800 number has been disconnected...anyone else got a number I can call?

These people annoy me.  Stop calling.

They call me twice a day, seven days a week. Can't anyone in government stop this?

I just received a call from this # and DID NOT answer it!
My phone is beside my computer,so i "Google" these strange phone #'s and end up here,on this page.
Instead of answering ,google the #. then u know NOT to answer!

We do not answer any of these 800, 877, 888 numbers etc.  They are usually trying to sell something or telling you to reduce your credit card interest.  We also do not answer 'unavailable name and number' calls.  And it is very annoying to have them calling 2 and 3 times a day.  There ought to be a law.

I'd like to know as well. I have 2 phone lines into my house. They both ring at the same time. No messages and if I try calling them at the number shown on ID, it is just a busy signal. I'm in BC, Canada if that makes any difference.

Alright, I got through to this number but received a message. It's the Victoria, BC Support for Sexual Assault Centre. You can only speak with someone during normal business hours. The number to call for customer support is.

Call 1 866 370 8216, I had the 470 4794 number calling twice a damn day, I work shift work and was driving me insane... the actual company calling is a beach body company or something like that, pretending to be a Victoria sexual assualt line.

I got a call recently. There was a female laughing on the other end. When I answered with "Hello?" she continued to laugh before saying "You're hot" and hung up.
I called the number back to report them for a prank call but got the Victoria Sexual Assault Line. The number redirected to some marketing number.

What can you do to stop these kind of things?

They call once or twice a day, every day for weeks without stop. I don't answer to 1-800 numbers ever.

I just got a call from this # I think it was for breast cancer?? But not 100% sure she asked for my husband and I said no but you can take us off your calling list.... then she kept talking!! I said PLEASE take us off your calling list! She KEPT TALKING!!! I YELLED TAKE US OFF YOUR CALLING LIST!!! and she tried to continue to talk and I said I wanted to speak to her supervisor who said yes she would take us off... these people really make my blood boil! Even a charity I WANT to give to I won?t ever, ever give to a telemarketer!

I got two calls from this number this week, but I didn't answer either time. However someone else I know answered this number and received a recorded message "This number cannot be completed as dialed".
That makes me suspect either a computer foul-up, or a new scam in which answering the phone lets someone else use your number...
