I just recieved a message from a different number which was 563-242-2037. i was told to call that number for Laurie. She knew my name, my e-mail and my cell phone number obviously.

You people are crazy, I love these kind of calls, so if you want just give them my cell number, I want to talk to them 813-528-3135

Got  a call from came up as restricted id on my cell so didn't answer and then got a message saying I won a ford explorer and other prizes that I had entered a contest online and they sent me info in the mail and never heard back from me and I need to call back because this was their last attempt. Was pretty sure it was a scam, but called number back and went thru the options and got a voice recording from the prize director and left a message saying I received a called and didn't remember entering a contest and wanted to know how they got my information, but left my home number to call back. Wish I didn't now, but we are on the do not call list so, hopefully it won't go thru if they try to call again.

I got a call from 1-931-288-9502.  It was a woman named Amanda saying he was from the Award Claim Center. She said I was entered to win a 2009 Ford Explorer or $25,000 cash and that my name was drawn.  She also said I was chosen to win one of three prizes, and that I should call back at 1-800-471-1408. Sadly, she got my name and gender wrong. I'm not Janice. :)

I got a call from "sarah" from "claims department" today on my voice mail. Said I was one of 3 winners to win a 2009 ford explorer. That I needed to call her back at 888-578-1486 to set up an appointment to claim the prize, and called from 931-840-9567. She was even kind enough to say congratulations.

1-800-471-1408 Bruce  563-242-2037  Peoria PD already knows about this scam in progress and is about to catch em in the act.  i called Ole Brucie Boy and his "WORK" desk number that goes directly too him is both numbers I have posted above... kinda funny how it's Verizon's Voicemail Ladies voice from regular everyday cell phones............  Alaxander Travel and other travel agencies on Peoria know about it and Peoria Travel has a person in the office that will tell you they have nothing to do with these "prizes" and don't know who is calling people.  BEWARE  i also told him that it seems funny that since I am one of only three people to win this "prize" then why have so many othewr people gotten the same call saying they are one of three?  He didn't know the answer.  Then when I said it will be funny when the Swat team kicks your door in in a few minutes and arrests all you idiots. He just laughed....  They think they are so slick ....

I guess this reprobate is still at it. My phone was off while downloading music from computer so I got a recorded message. Same story 2009 Ford Expolorer/$25K / 1 of 3 winners and that my name was entered at Peoria Travel. Thank God for this site and reverse Phone Lookup. Giving such tough economic times, there should be a special type of  punishment for these types of crime.

Called asking for "Corey." when I told him he had the wrong number, he asked me if I wanted to claim a prize for "Corey."
I told him I didn't fall for stupid scams and to "F" off!!
Then I hung up.

I've receieved 2 calls from Peoria Travel. The first one on March 30th from "Amanda" wanting me to call 800-251-3767. The second one today from Bruce wanting me to call 800-471-1408.  The calls were left on my voice mail, so I don't know what number they were actually calling from.

WE RECEIVED THE SAME CALL, DO THESE PEOPLE THINK WE ARE IDIOTS?????

I just got a call from Amanda saying the same as the rest on 800 931 1148. Seems like there's a lot of use going to win one of the top three prizes then!

This scam artist named Bill says I won a prize and I need to call him to claim the prize.

I called the number back and told the girl Thank You, I did win the Ford Explorer it was parked in my driveway and I found it odd that I would win again, I asked her if this was a scam and she said Thank You for entering it must be a mistake on the call list!!

800-471-1408 - called and spoke with renee.  this is a time share thing not a scam, but you will have to listen to the promo, make a certain amt of money and have a mjr cc to see them.  i doubt anyone is gonna get the explorer or 25k but the other option of the vacation may work out for you, but its gonna take about 2 hours.  the company is festiva

Stating I won either a 2009 ford explorer, 27in flat screen TV, or $25,000 cash, or a 5 day, 4 night trip to florida.  They gave me a address to go to and asked me to set up an appointment and give them my e-mail or fax number to send the confirmation letter.  I got there phone number and decided to investigate, and well, here I am.

number on my machine was 800-471-1408. Peoria,Il area also for this call.

I have that same messege on my answering service today. I see like scams being reported on web searchs as far back as 2006. I play many contests and this smells like scam!

I received the following message on my home phone on February 4 or 5, 2009.

"This is Josh calling (us) from the prize claim center in Peoria,Illinois. This call is to inform you that you have won a contest that you had been entered in for 2009 ford explorer or $25,000 cash. Please call back at 1-800-471-1408 to claim one in four grand prizes. Congratulations!"

I do not recall entering any contest, so I did not return the call. I am considering reporting it to authorities.
